So I just noticed something. Bren hasn't posted since last friday... Guess fishing trips are popular.
Also I ended up at the Cowboys Leagues club to watch the last of the match and the place had half emptied out in the last ten minutes.

So Semi has had yet another meeting with Bennett about playing for us next year.. I'm a massive Broncos fan but I really see why other fans get shitty at us for signing these players haha with what money??
I don't see why we are chasing Semi if we signed Mead. Surely one of them would be enough

To think I took the vc off Maloney & put it on Taumalolo just before the game. I would of scored 500+.
With Tamou off to the Panthers & Scott looking old & injured the Cowboys could really struggle next year unless they make a quality frf signing. Hannant is good value though/experienced & Kaufausi is still learning.

The Lewis V Johns V JT debate has popped up again and I think Holmes hammered home the point as to why JT doesn't deserve to be in that conversation. His defense is horrible. Holmes, a winger, absolutely steam rolled him.

It's hard to compare players of different era's. Today players are bigger & stronger than in the past. If I had to choose one it would be Johns.

Riadres v Sharks would be the better GF spectacle I reckon, so hopefully Raiders, also for their fans sakes.

Raiders. You beat the Storm through the middle & the Raiders pack has the power & size to do so.

Carn boys, get around us. It's been a very very very long time since we've even played a prelim. Let's make this special. Heading to the walkabout so it's getting messy regardless of outcome but I'd much prefer a good messy. Already bricking it with nerves about this game.

Just googled The Walkabout, is it like a chain of Aussie pubs over there?Archer wrote:Carn boys, get around us. It's been a very very very long time since we've even played a prelim. I lived just around the corner form The Walkabout in Townsville for a year but we used to drink at The Stuart just up the road a bit-was pretty fucking dodgy back then, not sure if it's still there?
But that Walkabout has been there for half a century, sounds like the ones in England are an actual chain for the Aussie market over there.

There were 2 sausages in a frying pan.
The first sausage said "Gee it's hot in here"
The second sausage said "Wow! A talking sausage"

Just as well there wasn't a third sausage, "I feel like a silly sausage 'cause I thought all sausages could talk. Shit it's getting hot in here."
