After last weeks L1 top of the table loss, ive got no time to lick my wounds. However if my team was ever prime for anothing thumping it would be this week. No DJ, RobGronk, JHoward, Alshon and the mighty TBrady, has left me scouring the FA for some timely fill ins.

Welcome aboard Rivers and Ebron, this is a week for you to not shy away from the fantasy gods and provide me with a well timed revenge win against a team who tore me a new one back in week 2. The Pain may look sorted with CaptCam, Officer Olsen and surprise star CorpCrowell, but he to has some hopes set on some waiver fodder as well, with West slotted to fill a vacant void due to the byes.

Im a slight 4pt fav heading into the round but am looking to resteady the ship and cruise away to my 6th win of the year......HGL 104 - Pain 88

Yeah as much as i love giving the sheep man stick, I don't feel like I've been taken advantage of. It's not like Welshy came to me and honestly there wasn't much floating around on FA at the time so I was pretty close to starting the week short on RB's. If I didn't get a trade I was just as likely to wind up dropping someone even better to the waivers. I get that some people are just supposed to come good and a newby like me won't know it, but TBH I've been hearing the same about Marshall and he's yet to do diddly, so I'm happy enough to take gambles on these things.

Now I feel the need to balance that out so.....speaking of ladders, hows that bottom rung treating you in L2? that's gotta hurt worse than a SJ drop goal.

    Thank you.

What has wound me up is the mentioning of taking advantage of you for being new to the game mate, for one we are pretty close for an online forum and I do think highly of alot of the guys on here Archer sadly being one of them so to take the piss in a fantasy game wouldn't cross my mind quite frankly!  for another its not even my main league I have just been helping out SI, Archer needed a RB I had Forte, Freeman, Gurley so Mathews was surplus minus bye coverage and needed a WR which Archer was shopping

trade was put on here, no qualms. A trade is never going to come without risk and that is the case for both sides

Some good pick ups this week on waivers in l3. I had a 10 sec look and nothing stood out but now I see 2 guys I like haha. Kelce is great cover for Gronk and I would have loved to stop RnT from playing him against me this. Bundah Boys with the Coleman pick is great work I missed the fact he was back this week

It seems I may have ruffled feathers, if so apologies! I just enjoy a good debate occasionally. Stand by my opinion none the less, but that's all it is, an opinion so I would worry too much lads and nothing personal was intended.

Will be a good match up between you and I Shanbon, even better if you still had stinky Martin and I had Marshall Smile

Nah, I knew what I was getting myself in for with that trade though... and despite it going pear shaped for me so far it still could turn out for the best as now Rogers is down Martin should get the chance to cement the RB1 spot again and its looking more and more like the main thing for me will be having him healthy for our playoffs.

Yes I finally had some luck on waivers - subject to none of them falling over between now and Sunday Smile

Glad I could get Kelce back. Foles is a a check-down king so Kelce should get a lot of play. He is ranked only behind Olsen and Walker by most this week so pretty lucky to get him for Gronks bye.

Not sure how I managed to get West and Riddick though. Did no-one realise West was starting this week? And Riddick has been a top 10 ranked RB since he took over as lead back. Those pick ups saved my butt cause otherwise I would have had to start Mathews...ah!!! Sorry could help my self Smile But its true I would have had to start him.....

Which league u in R&P ? Sorry im hopeless with the memory.
Some of the RB's that have fallen this year is phenominal, alot and everyone is being pillaged.
I love having Nelson, but i am finding it hard each week deciding which WR to pair up with J Jones. I have a feeling nelson goes sub 10 this week even though playing the Colts. As Rogers spreads it around well when he is comfy. May opt for Cooks, he could be open alot against the 49er's.

Me? I'm in L3. The fallen haven't really affected me, with the exception of bringing in Martin. But I've pretty much been last in the Waiver list so as all the new guys come up, I can never pick them up. The likes of Ajayi, West, Rogers,

Nelson v Cooks? jeepers unless you have someone else hiding on ur roster I'd be playing them both mate. Both should hit double figures I reckon, each got good matchups and each playing on teams without running games...

I dont think anyone else active in L3 needed a 1 week starter in C West thats why he was left on waivers. Riddock should be interesting, Vikings need to really fire up this week and could make it tough on him. If it was a PPR he would be much more valuable.

Westend warriors in L2 played Coleman today of the Falcons who has been a clear cut 'out' for a while. Easy to lose interest  when others do.
Good result for Mearcats from his  kicker  today -16 awesome.
Your team has improved out of sight since you took on an assistant coach Mearcats  cheer

Yeah but Cook bites hard in that he either gets 3 or 4 followed by a 30. Although this season he has thrown in a coiple of 10 or 12 type games. I hate starting a top WR and they produce a sub 10. Im keen on D Booker as my flex this week. I wish the starting team was 3 WR ultimately.

He's been more consistent lately, and while the 3 or the 4 is not good it won't lose you the matchup. the 30 will win it for you though.

Just check how beaten up Booker is. He might lose some carries this week given his injury. You'd think you could be guaranteed a 10+ game with him though while as you say Cooks could deliver anything from 0 to 30. I think he's worth it though, particularly against SF.

Jags looks like he could have done with one, he's running with Hightower and McKinnon this week. but yup i take ur point, there is not as much competition on waivers now than b4. Lucky for me otherwise I wouldn't have been able to be competitive in our match up.
