yeah, we've both had our fair share of duds this week which has made this one a close one.

To the forum - Arch has a 7 pt lead, and I have Zach Ertz (against Green bay) - who wins?

against that horricious GB pass defence I reckon Ertz gets between 8-15 points

Brilliant how close the league is, literally no one in places 1-7 can afford to lose any of the 2 remaining games.

Pain is all but relegated but can play the role of spoiler, I have 2 match-ups left against No.1 and No.2 on the ladder  pale pale

Phwoar looks like I've scraped through this week with a must needed win! Unlucky @BroncHose your team managed to "out lose" mine this week in a race to the bottom.

I almost lost this week to the guy who hasn't changed his team since the early rounds. Every single player on my roster bombed except Brees who scored more than half my total points! Im pretty sure I must have the record for the lowest winning score of all leagues combined Smile

I got a combined 3 points out of Julio, Cooks, and Vinatieri - all guys that I'm pretty sure will be ranked among the top 10 in their respective positions for the week coming up....

Anyway my team is completely reshuffled after 2 separate trades which netted me

Mike Evans, Jordy Nelson, Melvin Gordon, Blount for Julio, L Murray, D Martin, and R Kelley.

I'm no expert but I reckon on net thats a solid trade. Interesting thing is both the other guys are easily better off for the trade as well.

Right time right place I think!!

I definitely happy with my side of the trade was a case of exchanging 2 stars for one elite talent in Julio, whilst losing Gordon hurts me, I have enough cover at RB to accept the Gordon loss more easily with Murray, Gurley, Kelley, Rawls...hopefully Benjamin has a big last few games to make an elite WR pairing with Julio

Looks like we are up each against each other this next round - wonder if the trade will be the difference (one way or the other).

Yeah, I was a bit gutted to lose Juilio, but at the same time I was taking a punt that I could get something over the line with BBS and hence grab me a replacement elite WR in Evans.

I perhaps downgraded ever so slightly on Julio but I got a massive upgrade to my starting RBs and also a solid WR2/Flex option in Nelson effectively for free.

Time will tell though, its a bit of a fickle game this NFL fantasy. No matter how you plan things can go belly up. Case and point my #2 pick overall, Gronk, who to be fair has by and large been a bit of a bust this season. Great when he is injury free but thats been a grand total of 4 of 11 games this season. Fingers crossed he is back this week!!

After I seen your Evans trade I think you made out better mate, Evans and Julio like for like almost so technically you get an elite WR exchange and a big RB upgrade adding Gordon! good business!

Yeah, that's how I feel, wouldn't have done it otherwise, but did have to take a punt not eh 2nd (Evans) trade, otherwise I would have been depleted at WR.

The key seemed to be finding areas where others have been rocked by injuries. You were in a whole at WR with in particular with Green going down but also Diggs looking dodgy too. But you had a ton of quality RBs of which I had one. Buddha Boys on the other hand was in a real pickle at RB but was real strong at WR. The rest is history as they say.

    Everyone wins!!

By the way, how many active managers are their in L2 and L1?

L3 has always been a bit one-sided. No dramas, but I can see it would be a bit more fun if everyone was more active.

Who did people pick up mate? you looking to fill any wholes still?

A few pick ups in L3:
Tyreke Hill of course, but then the rest were streaming picks. Eg the Ravens D was picked up, and I picked up Ebron in case Gronk stays out, and also grabbed DeSean Jackson in case Peterson is out, in which case he has a killer matchup to go with his pick up in form.

There's quite a few other good pick ups too for people with injury problems. I was considering Mitchell and I reckon Boyd is an option if he is available. Not much on offer at RB anymore, but a good streaming QB should be out there for anyone who needs one.

So who would you have gone for?

I was surprised to be able to stash Dixon at the sixth waiver pick, but missed out on Kaepernick (can't believe I'm considering streaming a QB with Cam Newted)

I also picked up some Gronk cover in Cameron Brate. Winston is looking the goods and I thought he's been slightly more consistent than Ebron throughout the year.

I too have suffered from a 2nd round pick bust in Gronk. Cam Newton is next in line.

From L2 the active guys seem to be (in order of standings):
Rawls Deep - @Russ (the runaway lead)
Team Mearcats - @Mearcats (two game lead for promotion)
Team Bomber - @Bronchose (nails dug in after a 4 game losing streak - incl to last place who has not touched his team recently)
Canterbury Charizards - @Studogg101 (a tie week with @jelejasof keeping him in the playoff hunt)
Team Archer - @Archer (hastily making up lost ground from the early weeks)
Team Benson - @ASIO / Welshy (suffering from indecision)
West End Warriors - @Jelejasof (about to be owned this week - I hope)

Team Krump - @Krump is about the only one who seems to be out after making 4 acquisitions throughout the season.

I'd say we'll get to a point next season where we combine for 2 leagues anyways.

Yeah, u r right, but the activity of some are much greater than others. EG at this stage of the season you'd expect mot players to be on the waiver wire streaming at least one each week right? whereas we had only 3 people on waivers this week. Not complaining, just saying I imagine its a bit better when everyone is all in.
