Bennett needs to do something with Moga, our origin winger is non-existent in attack unless Boyd throws a cut-out pass because the bastard would rather be held up/drop the ball in goal for the 2367th time than pass it and let Oates show him how to play big and actually find grass when he gets over the tryline. It might be too late to do it this year without messing up combinations, but maybe moving him to the wing outside Roberts and playing Kahu centre for Oates could be the ticket, at least then when he gets the ball he has permission to peg the ears back.

fucking devastated for Milford,it was only briefly tonight, but that game confirmed for me that him and Benji were looking like the halves combo to play moving forward, thankfully we still have our 2 byes in hand, so at best he might only miss 2-3 games.

He catches that kick off, he's a premiership winning half, and his confidence doesn't get shot. At that point... it's about right.
Now? Poor bloke is injured and playing way down on confidence.
Whilst I'm not happy to see him go, I think we're ahead on the deal

Ok - so now the discussion needs to start over Bennett letting Wallace go.
Selected in the origin starting team half way through his first season starting in club land.
He buys a plodder like Sims, keeps someone like Glenn - who is average at best, and lets wallace go... wtf aye

please critique this post then mate, what is so wrong about it?
This may seem like a troll, but its not. I genuinely would question this decision. Blair is at the back end of his career. Sims is average. Glenn is average. Thaiday at the back end. Why would he let someone like Wallace go when in a year or 2 they are going to be desperate need of quality front rowers?

Probably salary cap. We try to pretend to obey it.
Still - hindsight says it was a bad leave. Hitting Middle/Off about half way up....

i would also argue that Sims has been great since making the move and between Pangai, Offa, Ese, Molo, Fai and young Payne Haas coming through, we'll have quality in our front-row rotation for sometime to come

Sign Wallace for what the Titans offered and fair chance we lose Gillett. I'm happy with Wayne's decision, and also happy for how Wallace has gone.

How could you guys possibly think you would lose gillet by keeping wallace when you just signed jack bird on a basically milly a year

At the Broncos we like to honour contracts.

because Gillett was off contract after 2016, not 2017

If they wanted Wallace they could have kept him for unders just so he could play under Wayne.

exactly. So they didnt want him.
Which is a bad call considering how good he has been this year.

how you know a joke has been going on too long - when the people telling it actually start to believe it to be real.

Losing Wallace hurt and I was pissed off but Sims has done a decent job so far and is a try scoring threat, Wallace is not. Sims already has more tries this season than Wallace has in his career.
