They voted in Trump and Pence. The only reason Kimye would surprise me is because they'd be far too progressive.

Do we put Owen Wilson on ice now or is it too late already?

On a serious note I believe Michelle Obama would be the best person for the job.

Exactly my point. Being charismatic doesn't mean either of them are qualified.

    Mike Pence is "qualified".
I sure as hell wouldn't want him running my country.

Everyone voting for Trump has very legitimate grievances against the system.

Its just a shame that Trump is unlikely to do anything that will help them.

and Michelle Obama likely would have romped home against Trump.

Anyone else would have beaten Trump. That's one of the many issues with a 2 party system.

The difference between the two is that Pence is crafty and intelligent.
Abbott had neither of those traits.

Personally, I think that makes Pence a lot scarier but I agree, they share very similar values.

I think people get carried away thinking they know why people voted for who they did.
There are a number of reasons we know of for possibly voting for Trump and probably a number that we don't consider.

You are right though, neither of these two politicians would/will fix the broken system that caused this whole mess to begin with.

Not agreeing with his policies doesn't make him unintelligent, the guy was a Rhodes scholar.

Republicans won the senate, house & white house meaning total control. I'd say Trump will be able to do whatever he promised with no opposition/problems. They will repeal/scrap Obamacare then they will build the wall. The wall will prevent all the illegal drugs crossing the border & flooding America.

The only wall being built is by the Canadians to keep all the Americans out.
