C'mon. The Broncos have a strong history of disciplining guys who misbehave in night clubs.

No way they'll sweep this under the rug. Goes against their club culture

haha! James didn't seem like the type to learn alot from rehab.

its a strange story though. pulled a random girls hair? bizarre. jokes about rugs aside, its hard to see much coming from this. any club would handle this internally. i would have assumed he was on a zero booze orders from the broncos.. i wont be disappointed if we did boot him. nothing but trouble.

Big bash fantasy seems to handle the late withdrawals situation pretty well. Teams are picked from a squad 1 hour before the game with unlimited auto emergencys, but they must be from the position of withdrawal. EG if you have two bowlers that are late withdrawals you receive your 2 lowest scoring benched bowlers as AE

A few years ago ex NZ Prime Minister John Key was in a Remuera cafe with his wife when he pulled the pigtail of a female waitress. He's a seriously creepy individual.

He's actually a really friendly, down to Earth guy. I don't agree with all his policies and the ponytail pulling thing I think he honestly thought would be taken as a joke...

I can't say I agreed with many of his policies and certainly not his successor but can't call him a creep, maybe a bit socially unaware at times.

Bill English though, what a piece of work...

EDIT: JK Had done the ponytail tug thing to school children as well and it was also seen as a laugh back then.

Oxfam International report. 8 men (Gates, Buffet, Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Amancio Ortega, Carlos Slim, Ellison, Bloomberg) own as much wealth as the poorest 50% of the world's population. This is just obscene, criminal & immoral when 8 people own that much money & other people are starving to death because they don't even have 1 dollar in their pocket. The growing gap between the rich & the poor & the resulting anger with establishment politicians is the very reason Brexit & Trump prevailed.

Will be a tough call between those that choose to start with Elgey as 4th half vs Elgey as 3rd half with Hingago as 4th

Yeah I read this as well. Also said that Lolohea will be on the wing. Apparently Foran made an agreement last year with the nrl that he was supposed to go to councilling, reabilitation for his personal problems/injury & he didn't even go or do anything. I suppose this is payback. Who knows they might suspend Foran for 8-9 weeks similar to Pearce making Hingano a great cash cow for us fantasy coaches.

My 3rd half is Cartwright atm. I'll have cheap half as my 4th half (Hingano, Nona, Fogarty). I'm giving Elgey a miss. The Titans have a tough opening set of games, he's coming back from an acl injury & I think Hayne will adversely affect the fantasy points of both Taylor & Elgey.

I think you are places way too much emphasis on the opening games for team selection for a competition where there was 3 wins between 8th and 13th(excluding Parramatta)

There are legitimate reasons to not take Elgey(Roberts performance last year, Taylor being a dominant half) but the draw is not one of them

Just read the DT's predicted Cowboys 17 - they've got a bench of Kaufusi, Hampton, Hess & Asiata. Seems super light - expecting Hess to play prop? If that's how they do line up, Bolton and Kaufusi look like super value.

Good point mate but I do think the draw is relevant for mid to low range priced half. For some reason I don't like any of the halves under 400k except the bottom dollar halves like Hingano, Nona, etc.

there is rumour on the cows forum that Gubb will be at the Cowboys very soon. take it for what you will, but apparently the warriors are happy to let him go given they can sign a replacement.

Gubb was at Wynumm when Green was the coach there.

I was reading a Sharks forum & apparently they were after him too. Apparently Gubb wants to leave the Warriors. But with Matulino out I'm surprised the Warriors would let him go. I think the Cowboys were after McLean from the Storm so that must of fallen through so Gubb must of been next on the list.

Would love to see Gubb at the Cows. Didn't realise he'd been in NZ so long

Hess won't be in the frf rotation. He's not big enough & he's better in the 2fr. People are saying when Taumalolo comes off for a rest, Lowe will go to lock & Hess on the edge. The Cowboys forums want Taumalolo to move to prop, Lowe at lock & Hess at 2fr but I can't see this happening. There's also a chance that Lowe may be eased back in & start off the bench due to his spinal injury last year & Hess to initially start the season in 2fr.
