One of my Segeyaro drafts has both Turbo in WFB and SMat in 2FR. I think there's a few ways to do it but might come down to where the cheapies are come TLT?

yeah i suppose it gives quite a lot of flexibility come TLT if you have those 3 pencilled in and can just move them around

Someone earlier mentioned Matagi might be starting, so on that basis and the fact he is cheaper and with Sims now at the Donkeys I would vote Matagi.

If you were to go without CS9 what hooking combo would you use?

I don't see why you would run without CS9 this year... But if you want to save some money. I would probably go McInnes and King.
    But have Fifita as Captain

I didn't consider King to my thoughts earlier in thread

CS9 and Seggy I want but the closer the time comes the less I think Seg comes back
CS9 and McInnes ideally but it takes up too much cap
With no Cook come TLT I think Farah will enter ALOT of teams

IF McInnes can maintain his avg when he plays hooker for 60+mins I think you can run no CS9 and jump ahead of the pack if you use that $158,000 wisely elsewhere. Massive, massive risk but I'm considering it

Squeaky bum time if there is no utility on the dargons bench. I will seriously consider mcinnes instead of CS9

His avg playing 60+ minutes was in the 59.5

Problem is he will struggle to get anywhere the consistency that Smith gives you, 2 absolute monster scores in McInnes avg as well

Cheers Random, well I'd prefer to get into the NRL one so I only need to use the one site but if that goes bust I think I'll come knocking for the ultimate. Definitely keen to give it a shot.

Oh shit, Welshy is in the ultimate? Count me in then, I've got a taste for it after destroying him in the NFL and mock drafts (not officially, but in my heart and everyone else) so this is just one more for the list.

I can never be arsed completing a team at the moment so rather than trying to post up half a team or  something, I'm going to throw out some ideas or people I'm currently pondering. So prepare for a WALL OF TEXT because this is probably going to be completely out there and I'll come off looking like a whack job (more than usual). But if I explain my reasoning some people might at least take away 1 or 2 thoughts from it or otherwise it might at least provide some further discussion.

    Ideas:
1: Loading up on my backs and playing 2 of my reserves from there. In short its really just that I feel safer taking a gamble on some of the players in the CTR/WFB positions either being super undervalued or going from good to great, than I do trying to do the same in FRF/2RF. For example running something like
        - CTRS: TTrbo, SMat, Idris
        - WFB:Holmes, RTS, Hayne, Guth.

2: That however ties up a lot of money especially as I fully intend to go with (C)am as is tradition. To support this I'm contemplating gambling on a super cheap 2nd hooker like King/Cherrington & looking at whether I could offset the risk by including someone like Hampton in my halves (see players below).

3: Rather than Guns and cows, I'm tempted to ride with a lot more mid rangers accross the board. So outside of Surgess and Smith (Because even I'm not going to gimp myself Captain choices) I may have every other player below 400k (ie No McGuire, James, Fifita, Graham etc.)

    Players:
Ok so there is no point going over the guys everyone has been talking about but I'll list a couple of players I've either not seen really mentioned (or very little) or havn't seen in many teams.

    1. Ben Hampton - Ok so I've gone this guy first because I mentioned him above and there is probably something I've completely missed (even if not, i admit its out there) so it might be a lowball to give Welshy a chance at getting one back on me. But in the back of my mind of have a recollection of Granville often only playing 40-50min, especially early in the season (Coming on about 30min into the game). If Hampton gets the utility role then I'm assuming he picks up DPP and at a minimum Kostjasyn's minutes. BUT if an injury occurs or Cowboys want to get a little creative he might get more minutes playing elsewhere (Perhaps they could have both Granville and him on at the same time like Raiders did with Baptiste and Hodgo). If you compare him to Kostjasyn he's probably only got about 50k price rises, but I think he's a better player and cowboys recognise that so it wouldn't suprise me if he gets more.

    2. Jarrad Kennedy - I'll keep it short and sweet with JK, think he might be a little prone to the Maubs effect (he filled in at ctr occasionaly for us) but I think he's a solid FGer who can score pretty well if given the minutes. He tends to make a good amount of tackles and has an ok offload.

    3. Robbie Rochow - Honestly I'm just going with a gut feel that this will be one of those rare occasions where moving to a better team is good for a forwards scores in that it might open up a lot more opportunities to pick up attacking stats. Could be well off base but I wouldn't be the first Very Happy.

    4. Blake Austin - I've talked about him already and mentioned him above, but Austin is really growing on me (thanks whoever it was that first mentioned him!). I think we really settled on what everyones role was in the spine and  looked more comfortable on the back of that, but Austin was unlucky with injuries so couldn't take full advantage. I don't expect he will be the form half or anything crazy for a full year but I'm tempted to gamble on him exploding out of the blocks in the early weeks, possibly outscoring or at least keeping up with other more expensive halves and bridging the gap in price so that I can ride the streak and jump ship.

Anyway, I'm not confident on any of my ideas and analysis above, but today was one of my first really slow days at work in a while so I finally got a chance to look at some fantasy and I thought I'd throw out some stuff that isn't the usual things I've seen in all the teams so far.

    tl;dr Papa > Friz
