It would be a relief if that is true. The test site still says 34 trades, but I am not sure how much that is worth- parts say the cap is $7M and other parts still say $6.8M.
I'm not saying you're team is bad, just saying I don't like your CTR selections. Maybe they will get more gametime than I previously indicated, but this ugly hole had me so preoccupied that I didn't even notice you had all of Smith, Fifita, Surgess and Tedesco. That is how bad those centres are.

This is a moot point that we are arguing over the CTRs in a team that is way overbudget anyway. Why not just put TTrbo in there as well, go 700k overbudget and make me happy? Laughing

I'm sure the Broncos could fit my squad under the salary cap.

Who would you pick out of:
    (a) ET (399k) - priced at av 42.1. I can't see much upside in him especially when Ballin goes down & he fills in at hooker.
    (b) T-Trbo (391k) - priced at 41.3. At f/b could become a 50+ scorer & 2 home games to start season.
    (c) Maloney (319k) - priced at 33.7. With Ennis gone he'll have to take on more responsibility in attack.

    Thanks.

To be fair though, whilst the rest of the NRL world thinks there is a conspiracy, only us Brissy folk see that taking a paycut to move here makes total sense. Lower housing prices, less traffic, better weather. This may not apply to Sims who is coming from Newcastle (even lower rent, and far less traffic etc..) but when players get out of Sydney and come up to Brisbane everybody wants to neglect the fact that Brissy is just a nice place to live and that entices people to make sacrifices to come here. That and the fact that players want to play under Bennett. Maybe if your city was nicer your teams could do the same Razz (oh No he didn't!)

Also, for a qlder, playing for the broncos (who barring something wild, will be a top 8 team) greatly enhances your chance of being picked for origin. Even if the side is behind on wins come about round 10, youre still playing in a side that gets noticed every week.

With parker retired, myles old, and lillyman never a sure pick, theres spots on offer this year. If sims goes half decent for the broncs he'll probably play three games of origin off the bench (and pocket a further 90k in match payments)

And at the other extreme that's why players coming to the Warriors actually get a pay rise.

Tigers possibly relieved at this so they can get rid of him a little easier

ET non injury effected avg whilst at the Tigers is around the 48 mark, which included some woeful stints at hooker, some value there....Did you know TTurbo avg at FB is infact....41.5 where he is priced, I may have run the numbers wrong though...his best fantasy avg happened when he actually played CTR. Plenty of reasons to believe TTurbo can better 41.5 with a full season at FB not playing on a bum ankle though

Those points from fullback came from 1 or maybe 2 plays as well. I know alot of fullbacks are like that, but I reckon TTurbo has a few stinkers Fantasy wise in him. I have never oned him but so maybe haven't watched him as closely.

Just worried, he was told he had to gain weight and bulk up. He still looks as thin as a rake from photos I've seen. I hope he can withstand some BIG hits.
JAC seems a little hot headed and could get himself in trouble.

Brisbane is a shit hole. I lived there for over a year. The weather sucks, the people on large couldn't spell XXXX (not anyone here) no real beach is horrible. The casino is a joke, the Valley is one of the worst places I've ever seen. However Suncorp is the absolute best league ground in the world.

Yeah, not much to him but French just looks like one of those blokes who will cop a hit and bounce straight back. I could be wrong but also don't see JAC being used anywhere bar on the wing in 1st grade.

Honeysett has absolutely nailed it here. Can't argue with any of the above.
