The role will change throughout the year. Hastings won't offer the impact that Api will off the be charged so eventually they'll switch. I'd say for starts 55 mind Api and the rest Hastings but then there will be a shift and Api will only get the 30

I'd say not enough to improve on his 39.5 that he's priced at

Barring injury, is there any chance Farah doesn't play origin this year?

Since everyone thinks King will be a massive flop, I hereby put it on record that I think he'll average high 30s and won't get injured.

How much was it over by? Because I am leaning to a similar looking team. (Except with King and a more pathetic looking set of halves.)

I'm with you mate. People not picking King as they say he's injury prone are the same people considering Slater. Dance

i think this team is actually 513k over the cap. But nobody wants to mention the high possibility only one of those centres even sees gametime this year.

There is a fair chance that I won't be. At this point in time I will only be playing Ultimate League (where you can select AE's for each individual position) as for the first month or so of the NRL season I will be away on holidays / have certain work commitments and won't have much time to spend on any form of Fantasy including such things as team lists 1 hour before kick off. So essentially I won't have the time there to change my squad if there is a late injury or withdrawal during those weeks so if I were to run an NRL Fantasy squad my season could be over before it has even started.

The only possible way I could get around this is to have a caretaker for those 3-4 weeks that I am away however as you know the opening month or so of the NRL Fantasy season is the most crucial in trading out under performing players and trading in cash cows before they skyrocket in price, that is a massive ask for any Fantasy squad caretaker. I'm just throwing up certain teams to give a different perspective and some ideas of a potential squad for others.

I'm skeptical of King because I think he'll produce Scott Moore like scores, not because of injury worries.

You said there is a high possibility of only one of those CTRs seeing game time in 2017 which I find hard to believe. Since Lyon has retired and Matai is on the verge of retiring due to injury (or has he already retired? who knows... anyway that's not the point) that leaves two CTR spots open at Manly. You would think Walker will fill one of those spots and all mail and rumours I have heard is that Brian Kelly is an extremely high chance of nabbing that other spot.

Could be genius if he does, keeps his spot and does well. Still a relative unknown and Idris already a huge gamble as is. Why have such a weak centre pairing and run with an extra WFB? Thinking you can always fix things later if they go bust is a poor mindset with only 26 trades this season. You want to be hitting more home runs from the initial squad. More 3-pointers, more touchdowns, and more sports metaphors of this ilk.

Bellamy is also on record as stating that Scott will be a regular sight in first grade this year. My entire point of constructing that team was to show a squad with Smith, Fifita, Surgess, Tedesco etc. As I stated previously I didn't refresh the page so I didn't realize how far over budget I was (I'm sure you can see the funny side of it Laughing). I can't speak for others but I have personally spent as little as possible in the CTRs to start the season previously and upgrade that position at a later date when season keepers like Croker etc drop a little in price. Also I thought the reduction to only 26 trades for the season was a massive troll attempt?

It would be a relief if that is true. The test site still says 34 trades, but I am not sure how much that is worth- parts say the cap is $7M and other parts still say $6.8M.
I'm not saying you're team is bad, just saying I don't like your CTR selections. Maybe they will get more gametime than I previously indicated, but this ugly hole had me so preoccupied that I didn't even notice you had all of Smith, Fifita, Surgess and Tedesco. That is how bad those centres are.

This is a moot point that we are arguing over the CTRs in a team that is way overbudget anyway. Why not just put TTrbo in there as well, go 700k overbudget and make me happy? Laughing
