Yes I'd be willing to give up one of our coveted second tier contracts to accommodate him.

rankin in the 5. chee kam wearing 4, but cant see idris anywhere. most of the players seem to be wearing their correct # in the top squad but for some reason naiqama has the 9 on his back (though it seems he ran in a try at centre). only other interesting one to note is Sue is wearing #12. Cant see Simona there either.

So the AFB pick gets even more weight. Not only is Lussick out for first 5 weeks. Apparrently whacko whispers is reporting Lloyd Perret has a dodgy knee and will go for surgery before start of season. Not sure on how bad or length of time.
Probably means Taupau to prop so this might not be that great for AFB, but should be good for two of Lane/Brown/Kennedy and Sironen whom will probably start now.

Yeah if Taupau moves to the middle it makes AFB less appealing but it does make 1 of Kennedy, Winterstein, Lane or Sironen a good pick whoever takes Kapows spot. Actualy scrap Sironen he's a mug who lives off his father's name.

Manly have also released Willis Meehan.

If Taupau moves back to prop they'll be really weakening their 2nd row though. Wouldn't think that would help their NRL performance. A Sironen/Brown back row isn't going to scare many opponents.

Are we overlooking J-Trbo. I read somewhere that based on the 2016 whenever Manly ran a bench hooker (Koroisau/Hastings in 2017) he usually played 80 mins. But is he too expensive & what worries me is late in the 2016 season he played a lot on the edge & did a lot of decoy runs. If he's guaranteed to stay at lock it's more of a positive. I also think Taupau is wasted at 2fr playing 80 mins. He's better in the middle & he's better in short sharp impact bursts maybe off the bench.

Probably means Shaun Lane gets a start. I read somewhere the Barrett likes big rangy second rowers, so Lane and Sironen fit the bill. Sironen doesn't quite have the ball skills of G Stewart and the heart of Watmough.

If PMat lands the #1 gig at Newcastle does he suddenly become an option?

i think he will get it, and i've been considering making him my 3rd wfb, but if the knights are losing a lot of games he could easily throw up plenty of poor scores.

Pat Mat a bit too expensive for a NPR WFB, especially for someone from the Knights.

better fantasy wise if the python gets it, even if he ends up another Feeney

If he is the dominant half, kicks goals & does the kicking in general play but does Elgey steal his points & Hayne has the potential to affect both Taylor's & Elgey's output. I'd say no.

Elgey is not a kicking half and Taylor will likely kick goals, not sure how Hayne takes points off him from FB mate.

Massive potential for Taylor to take the next fantasy step IMO

If Titans direct a lot of attack through him like Raiders do with Wighton, you might see the halves just giving a lot of early ball and Hayne getting most of the TA's/LBA's etc. for the last pass.

The delay in opening NRLF this year is starting to drag so much even the lurkers are coming out to post Embarassed
I'm starting to think they will launch with the 9's, but hopefully it's sooner - the best part of the season is messing around with unlimited trades.
