i lurked the manly forums after the trial. everyone that was there seemed to think he is made for first grade and want him in the team in rnd 1. but i guess you have to remember that is just forum members who will typically get excited about any new blood (and no one wants matt wright). but yeah they seemed to say big body, strong carries, etc

Bar the elite CTR options in fantasy BJ, Croker, Dugan, Aitken etc and the high level potential risky mid rangers Hurrell, Chambers,Walker.....I think Kelly has the potential to go 30+ big body, sound defensely and that attacking nouse.
If he isn't named R1 i will just start Scott with Idris to kick off the season

does this mean scott gets the nod over blair? seems like a strong starting 13. very hopeful of this happening
also a poor omen for croft if they would prefer to keep munster in the halves despite this injury cloud over slater

Less time on the field for Carter = less penalties?
In 2016 Ryan James turned from a penalty magnet into a fantasy gun. Maybe 2017 is Carter's turn

Uate couldn't even make the Knights team last year. How certain is his spot for Manly

Everyone has him (in my 2RF ressy spot) my point was Kelly has as much potential in the CTR as anyone not already in the gun CTR tier for bottom $$$

Of course not. Blair turned his career around at the Storm last year and it's not like he had a Wolfman quality game in the GF. Scott's probably just named there to give him a confidence boost and give him some good game time as preparation for a back-up. Also Glasby's named at No.19 and he is a guaranteed inclusion on the bench.

I disagree, why chop and change backline a game before R1 injury non withstanding (in Slaters' case)
Glasby a bench player regardless so number on his back is meaningless
difference with Scott and Blair is Scott has had and still does have massive wraps on him, Blair is servicable and a product of Bellamys uber coaching and structure

Well been a while since Scott's played first grade and Blair hasn't done anything to warrant losing his spot. Scott would have to have really, really impressed at training to suddenly usurp him.

Anyone know if Tevetano is injured? Not that important aa was just a minimum price placeholder in my squad, but word was he'd be on the bench for the Roosters come Rnd1 but he's nowhere in trial squad.

Yeah, can't understand why Cheyse Blair would b e stone cold dropped unless injured. He was pretty bloody good last year.
