I have no idea why have picked King, I just don't see him getting anywhere near 80 minutes with IDG and Kaysa there

But how many minutes does he get there? I doubt he'd play the 80

Guerra has played lock 5 times in the past 2 years.

Averaged 75 minutes and 45 points. Priced at about 44 its not enough to say insta-pick even if he does nail down the starting spot.

Wasn't named for Wyong either so I would assume injured. Butcher out injured aswell. Both were pushing for a first grade bench spot but looks like Carter has sealed it unless Matterson has a blinder

Well BA has been quoted as saying he wants an 80 minute hooker and King is the frontrunner. Also iirc King was on the field in the heat for most of the nines, not doing anything flash, but seemingly like he is being conditioned for the job. Could be talking out my arse here....

Blair is a solid first grader and did a job last year, probably better than expected, but Scott is a player for the future and has that X factor on attack. With the full year ahead I think Bellamy knows Scott will produce more come finals time than steady as she goes Blair. I see him ahead of Blair and a favourite of Bellamy.

With finucane injured and racing the clock to be back in time for round 1 KBrom is obviously in the 13 for now. But I think both of them are traps ( Kaufusi and KBrom) with a shared second row job and KBrom prob spending 15 through lock. Not much money to be made there.

Also croft is a like for like replacement for Cronk. I vaguely recall Cronk saying their game plan fits a running five eighth and that croft playing 6 might not fit that mould. I think it's just as likely tonumaipea plays 1 with Munster 6 than Munster 1 and croft 6, and if Munster has to be 1 then it's prob just as likely scott goes to 6 and Blair to centre to have a running 5/8.

    Just my opinion nothing concrete.

Kaufusi's an interesting one. He played 6 games over 40 minutes and scored in 3 of them including one double. It inflates his stats but hey maybe that just means if he took the field more often he'll become the NRL's top try-scorer.
On base stats he scored around 24.3 so that's actually pretty horrible. In one 53 minute game he scored 44 on base stats but in a 55 minute effort he scored 24 minus of course two LB's and tries.

    Smith Mcinnes
    JWH Gurgess DSaifiti Perrett
Surgess ET SMat Stimson Capewell NPR
    Norman DCE Lamb Field
    Idris Chambers Scott Kelly
    RTS Hayne Holmes Phytian Rennings

Any news on Holmes injury? Unsure about Chambers, wanted Turbo but needed the cash. Very worrying FRF with no gun.

All hinges on if i change Mcinnes to King. Frees up cash to go Chambers to Turbo/Field to Elgey/ET to a gun/ NPR 2nd row to someone decent or JWH to a gun

Y'know what I'm just going to try and ignore the urge to check or alter my team until Round 1 team lists come out. No matter what trial reports I hear, at the end of the day my whole team and any changes I make is pretty much dependent on King in the 9 jersey.
If he doesn't get it plans are screwed. I mean maybe Ballin has some value and if Cherrington starts he could also be an option but otherwise you'd just cut your losses in other areas and run with another gun.

Also welshy agree on Greenwood big time. Might take him a while to settle and get used to the standard of the NRL but he could be a real gun if he can get in the team (dunno how likely that is with Mcqueen and proctor there tho.

    He has so much potential.

Plenty of players like him in Super League that could make the jump, surprised NRL teams aren't raiding the ESL more.

He could easily be one of the best centres in the NRL if he came and worked hard for a year or two. Ben Currie, Chris Hill, Daryl Clark and John Bateman are some others that would be seriously good first graders

I've got Matt Scott in my team, how many are looking at him?

Pretty sure his former averages are 50+ and 45+ for the 2015 and 2016 seasons respectively.

He has back/neck issues, but has had these for a while. At 31 he's still in his prime. He is also after big money, and Tamou/Hannant have left. My gut feel is that he'll play very strongly this season, and could average around 50.

My FRF also has JWH and Gurgess who both could offer premium-ish returns. I think Gurgess is the better pick of the 3, not just because he's the cheapest but he's probably the least risky from an ownership perspective (my guess).

Nice. He's in the mix for my team.

If McInnes is named with no hooker on that Dragons bench, anyone willing to run the gauntlet and go no CS9

McInnes playing 80 should go 60 most weeks, viable captaincy option then?

Possibly, but only with Fifita in the team.

    McGinness + Fifita(C) + 14k vs McGuire + Smith(C)
