    Carry on.

I thought it was a very good team. As you said centre is cheap but it's the same combo I'm running with. The only player you don't have is Surgess so maybe try & turn Harris into him by downgrading Jo Of as he won't get the mins.

Whilst there is obvious weakness. CTW mostly, Its not the worst team I've put together. I think Farah will be fairly solid.

Disclaimer: some of these players are 100% playing SOO but I couldn't go past.

    Farah, Brailey
    Jbrom, Fifita, DSaifiti, Jo Of
    Harris, Gallen, ET, Smat, Sironen
    Cronk,Elgey, Hingano, Field
    Talakai, Idris, Kelly, Cotric
    RTS, Hayne,Guth

Lol at the Sironen, if I post my team I think I will put him in white font.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the Roosters and whether they will be making player bobble heads.

Bobblehead might be a different story but Hayne has done more then enough at that level to warrant automatic selection.

Bolton averages the same with +40 mins. Don't see the upside

Captain Gallen I assume? Can average 60+ so wouldn't lose much to Smith owners.

HOK: Very different. I am not sold on McCullough, Nikorima returned this weekend and McGuire slotted into the HOK role a little. It looks unlikely he will play the 80 minutes especially to start the season that would make him a gun. Brailey is one of the what 3 or 4 rookies that will be running around come TLT. Would rather an actual gun here if you aren't taking Smith early.

FRF: Gallen will be somewhat of a PoD. I don't see Bolton receiving an increase in minutes which means it is unlikely his score will increase to make him worth picking up.

HLF: Pearce is a gun, and considering his price starting with him makes him a PoD. Though I am unsure how Keary is going to impact on his scores, and he could see a slip after having Nikorima and different partners throughout the year. I would look at some of the cheaper guns available around that tier.

CTR: Jennings and Scott unlikely to be there but there should be other rookie options.

WFB: This is a backline that you may not have to change all year. Nice.

Why won't Scott be there? Chambers and Scott are the CTR pairing as far as I'm aware

It will be Blair not Scott, from all reports Scott is still a turnstile in defense.

Quality side overall but I see too many questionable mid-rangers in your 2RF. I'm expecting SiMat and Krom to improve if marginally and can't see enough of a potential increase in either Maubbs or Bolton.
Pearce, as I have stated many times before is a great option this year, I think... in saying that having changed my team around, he was the one I had to downgrade to upgrade other areas.
Backs are solid if unspectactular choices (only difference is I have SiMat for your Walker).

    What's your reasoning behind McCulloch?

My latest Guns and Rookies type iteration. This team means running 4 FRF in my 17 which isn't fantastic

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, James, Gurgess, Ese'ese
    Gallen, Sironen, SMat (3xnuffie)
    SJ, Lamb, Elgey (nuffie)
    Idris, Talakai (2xnuffie)
    Hayne, RTS, Holmes (Phythian, nuffie)

MS should be a lock for it he's only ever had one crappy year before which he warned everyone on here it was coming and got put in a lower league.

    @Random

How are you not seeing extra minutes in Bolton? If hes the starting prop he should go from 35 min to 45 min which is roughly what Tamou & Scott average.

    Thanks mate.

HOK: I could also change McCullough to Hodgson but Smith is just far too expensive I feel, throws off a lot of balance.

FRF: I can trade Gallen to JDB and Bolton to Wallace but I'm not sure I get much more increase out of that. Bolton should pick up more minutes without Tamou/Hannant should he not? Who wins out of the cowboys props if not?

HLF: Pearce is in for a huge year, Dally M type year. I think he goes huge, Keary is more a running halfback and I fully expect the Roosters to have a great year so I think Pearce leads that with try assists. He's my POD.

CTR: The NPRs are always up to change.

WFB: Yeah I think most people will have something similiar.

    Thanks for the insight, mate.

Reasoning is he'll score solid enough scores and won't lose much money throughout the year so I can jump to Smith post Origin when he's cheaper than what he is now.
