How are you not seeing extra minutes in Bolton? If hes the starting prop he should go from 35 min to 45 min which is roughly what Tamou & Scott average.

I didn't go look through the stats, but I thought Bolton was averaging closer to 40 minutes or so. I didn't think he was going to increase much in minutes, just have a starting role. If I am wrong though and he is picking up another 10-15 minutes he could be a decent pick.

I don't see much of a jump for him either, maybe an extra 5 minutes but he's not an up and coming type who's form will substantially increase year on year.

His form doesn't necessarily need to increase as such, he just has to run and tackle for an extra 10 minutes. He might very well be a trap but got to roll the dice somewhere. He has dpp as well so that adds flexibility if you want to get rid of him.

    Thanks for the insight, mate.

Reasoning is he'll score solid enough scores and won't lose much money throughout the year so I can jump to Smith post Origin when he's cheaper than what he is now.

    Makes sense!

Cheers for the insight Krump and Filth, the only issue is being lenient with the rules. Although we could bend them a little. Might mean I wont have to wait 3 years to get into the Elite league.

The DPP is the most appealing thing. I feel the same about McGuire as I do Bolton but as it stands there are way less DPP forwards than in previous years.

What's the deal with Mania Cherrington? No love from Flanno?

I have no real insight into the Cowboys squad. But if they sign Fensom, does he become relevant again? And at the expense of who? I don't think anybody would seriously consider him because of his price and uncertainty, but maybe one to watch out for later in season?

He'd be too expensive unless you knew he was getting 80. It'd also stuff up the value in their front row if he played lock.

Cowboys fans are just as confused. Thoughts are green wasn't particularly happy with his young props trials, Fensom to lock, Lolo to prop and Bolton back to the bench but no one knows. It's enough uncertainty for me to drop Hess.

i highly doubt fensom would get enough minutes to be fantasy relevant. I figure he would be used to shore up the cowboys middle for 15-20 mins either side of half time?

Depends how long term they sign him for. I don't think there are enough minutes in the current NQ pack that he would be worth picking up or being relevant without injury. However depending what happens with Taumalolo and Cooper next year. If Fensom plays limited minutes/very rarely this year he could look like a decent pick up in 2018 if he is signed long-term and picks up a starting spot. I don't think the Cowboys need him though and think that he becomes a quality signing for the Blackhawks.

If all things were the same, in a vacuum who would you choose?

Gallen. No one is taking minutes of Gallen, his scores are only determined by how hard he puts in on the night, not coaching decisions.

Straight up I would take Gallen every day of the week. Price and position plays a big part.

In the 23 games he's played +40 he still scores the same average. His ppm drops

Gallen for sure. Proven year after year with no Origin to save himself for now.
