Forward pack is the tough one. Am going to have to leave out some quality players and deciding which ones is going to kill me for the next 2 days

Same. Probably comes down to if I want Fifi then Surgess goes. I've dropped ET with the lack of bench hooker buy not sure he won't go alright

Why play Gurgess in a trial if his injury was bad enough to keep him out for rd1? If the charity shield didn't cause a flare up I'm picking that he starts come game time.

His average from last year is surely impacted on the time he spent in the centres. Now that hole has been plugged he should be playing exclusively in the forward pack?? Scored well in the pack from memory?

he actually scored pretty well in the centres. Maybe 1-2 points under priced. has good byes, but otherwise not worth it. Much better value available.

I am still tempted by Fogarty.

Named in the 21-man squad, so in the vicinity of selection. And his DPP willbe helpful if I want to bring Gutherson up to the halves.

I have him as well but i do have concerns that when Foran returns Ata will be the bench utility. I need to weigh that against the fact i dont think Foran will play more then 12 games this year.

If he becomes a bench utility after a few rounds, he should still make a little bit of cash on his avg for a couple rounds.

Now we have to do crazy scheduling to wait on confirmed teams close to game time for the marginal picks

With a dpp half/WFB if a cow should become available in the halves due to injury at least you can cash out one of the many Wfbs you will probably have and then swap between the positions.

Ie cash out Cotric in 8 weeks moving fogerty back there for croft, then back to half to cash out croft after origin. Basically what feeney did last year

Will Brailey make enough money to justify the loss of points in that second hooking position?

Yep, I've got fogarty as my 5th WFB as a place holder for when I move Guth to the halves. So I can use Guth as cover for hlf/wfb

Winterstein has all the makings of a trap, but i'll be reluctantly picking him, if only because there's nobody other FRF/2RF in that sub-$200k price range with that kind of oppurtunity.

Its pretty much Field or Fogarty for last HLF position.

Will Field be able to pick up more than 20 points a week. Doesn't strike me as a tackler so he'd need to come on and cause attacking mayhem for 15 minutes to get the points.
Probably not going to do it consistently - might even lose money.

have a few days to think about it

Winterstein will last about 2 weeks before Kennedy gets the call up

Same happened last year with Green

That is probably the biggest question for fantasy this year.

I'm going Field because i reckon the Dragons will be dogshit this year and there'll be pressure on Mary to make the change fairly early in the season.

Chances of Bateman staying at Lock and Soli going to bench for Whitehead upon Crokers return?

I think its just to get his fitness back up. He's barely played a game in 2 years. Don't want him to come back to the NRL and crock himself within 10 minutes again
