4 games at halfback - they only drop his average by about 2 points. Not enough to excite me

So hard letting go of Fifita though

Please stay away from any players I have in Ultimate.

That Papalii from the Warriors has zero job security and even less likely to play decent minutes. Soon as Bodene's fit he'll be gone I'd think. Moga is a risky option in my opinion. Cheap, will make some money if he stays on the park and posts decent scores but Mead won't need much to get back in the team.

For what its worth, ponga is named in the u20s and gideon mosby named in qld cup. However javid bowen not named in qld cup, suggesting he would take wintersteins spot.

That's fair enough, but there is no one at that price or cheaper that I'm interested in and I don't want to reshuffle the whole team to fit in someone more expensive.

You'd think if Holmes was named on the extended bench that he's a chance of playing, so at worst I think next week he'll be back.

I'm comfortable benching him and hopefully getting a 30+ score from his replacement in the meantime

What if Hayne is also out come gameday. You are playing Cotric and Pythian. Round 1 is hard enough to get good scores without doing that to yourself.

Your front row is a bit thin & 1 injury to either D. Saifiti or Wallace & you're in trouble. I just saw F. Kaufusi in your 2fr. Are you happy carrying 3 cheapies in your frf & 2fr.

That was playing 80 minutes each week
    Included 38 tackles a week
Also included season totals of 31 try assists and 32 line break assists - the highest in the competition for both.

So if he plays 50 minutes a week and maintains his PPM, then that translates to a score of 35.

But its pretty hard to maintain U20s PPM in the actual NRL, where players can actually tackle and there aren't 18 tries a game.

So I would suggest anyone banking on 35 points for Brailey is at the optimistic end of things. Will probably hit it every now and then, but it will be the upper end of his scoring.

I agree with all of this, however as a rookie hooker he will be targeted in defence and be made to make more tackles - he's just another player in the U20s but now he's the target. I think his tackling numbers get a bump.

    Fair point.

Better going Tedesco - Holmes and upgrading Leota - KBrom via Kaufusi?

Would run without Elgey as a reserve and go McInnes, Kaufusi, KBrom, SMat

It definitely strengthens your bench and depth, so long as your happy to let go of Tedesco.
Downgrading Surgess is also a viable option imo.

Also be aware the Holmes most likely won't be playing this week

JWH is at a very attractive price and there is no doubt he can be a 45+ scorer. I just don't know if it's enough to justify selection.

Look it at it this way if more people run at Brailey not only will it mean more tackles for him to make, it'll also probably help boost the scores of the middle players like Fifita, Gallen and Prior as the 2nd man/3rd flop into the tackle.
I'm not too worried about Brailey being targeted in defence. If he's a good player he can handle it. Nathan Cleary made like 30 tackles in his first game against the Storm and he was pretty solid. Only missed like 2-3.

    If you believe in patterns

    2014 - 35
    2015 - 45
    2016 - 35
    2017 - ??

Reckon he is a great shout in all seriousness

    A. Brailey, Fifita, Cody Walker
    B. McInnes, McGuire, Lamb

In case people thought it was Dylan Walker.
Option B does give me McInnes, FKaufusi, KBrom, SMat, Siro, Elgey to put the Rs on.
