4 games at halfback - they only drop his average by about 2 points. Not enough to excite me

That's fair enough, but there is no one at that price or cheaper that I'm interested in and I don't want to reshuffle the whole team to fit in someone more expensive.
You'd think if Holmes was named on the extended bench that he's a chance of playing, so at worst I think next week he'll be back.
I'm comfortable benching him and hopefully getting a 30+ score from his replacement in the meantime

DSaifiti, Wallace, Leota, Perrett
DeBelin, Surgess, ET, SMat, Kaufusi, Yates

Kelly, Idris, Moga Cotric
Tedesco, RTS, Hayne, Phythian, Uate

Your front row is a bit thin & 1 injury to either D. Saifiti or Wallace & you're in trouble.

What if Hayne is also out come gameday. You are playing Cotric and Pythian. Round 1 is hard enough to get good scores without doing that to yourself.

Honeysett wrote:Milchcow wrote:Brailey averaged 56 fantasy points in U20s last year
That was playing 80 minutes each week
Included 38 tackles a week
Also included season totals of 31 try assists and 32 line break assists - the highest in the competition for both.
So if he plays 50 minutes a week and maintains his PPM, then that translates to a score of 35.
But its pretty hard to maintain U20s PPM in the actual NRL, where players can actually tackle and there aren't 18 tries a game.
So I would suggest anyone banking on 35 points for Brailey is at the optimistic end of things. Will probably hit it every now and then, but it will be the upper end of his scoring.
I agree with all of this, however as a rookie hooker he will be targeted in defence and be made to make more tackles - he's just another player in the U20s but now he's the target. I think his tackling numbers get a bump.

Better going Tedesco - Holmes and upgrading Leota - KBrom via Kaufusi?
Would run without Elgey as a reserve and go McInnes, Kaufusi, KBrom, SMat
