Wow, he hasn't had much coverage here but I think he's underpriced. Have had some great spells with him in the team in the past.

If he stays fit he's surely going to be top 3 WFB. You might be onto something there...

    Hi gents,

Has anyone received their Digital Pass yet?

I was hoping to win one but unless they are running late this year, I don't like my chances, only one day to go before kickoff.

You kind of have to with the 4th frf and 6th 2rf position.

If you don't, (ie you stack those areas) then you're probably weak elsewhere.

A 2RF cow will turn up sooner or later.

Yeah you're right. Got to run with somebody. Running with Winterstein I still have 54k in the bank so if somebody emerges I can still gain like a 10k price rise or even deal with a little loss. Last year after Green failed I had room to move to Carter in Round 2.
You never know, Winterstein could run a lucky line and nab a try in Round 1 getting his BE low for the next few weeks even if he sucks.

Gee it's hard in the halves and forwards though to get comfortable

Tell me about it. Going to be 4-5 guys I really want in my forwards that I just won't be able to fit in

Anyone interested in Arrow? Should get around 30 minutes at lock and he showed last year he will score about 30 points in that time. I like him a lot better then Felise Kaufusi and Frankenstein but will probably cave in and grab Felise

My only real theory here is that IF Musgrove can hold the starting position THEN he has a better chance of making 100k (237k to 337k) than any of the other potentials do (Vete, Wallace, DSaifiti, RCG). Thats about it.

But yes Gurgess is a massive question.

What does everyone think of this?

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, Kaufusi
    ET, Moeroa, Mata'utia, Sironen
    Norman, Johnson
    D Walker, Idris
    Turbo, RTS, Hayne

Last 2 reserves from LG, Frankenstein, Kelly, Moga, Cotric, Pythian with Yates, Leota, Stimson and Fogarty.

Obviously fitting Walker and Turbo with dual gun halves makes my second row and Front row weak but I actually don't care.
Turbo could be this years Teddy, Walker this years Croker and lack of sure thing halves makes me need two guns.
I already have the two gun hookers in my eyes so bar injury I'm safe on trades here until origin.

Don't think I lose too much in the second row if Fifita, McInnes, Walker and Turbo fire. Also think its not out of the question that ET and Moeroa score between 45-50 early on.
Everyone has Mata'utia and Sironen also.

What are people's thoughts on Cartwright? I was really keen on him initially, but I don't think he's a must in the halves (especially now that he's named in the 2nd row)....

I gathered that. If he averages 35 per game good for a 100k. But do you think he would be preferred over Tyrell assuming gurgess is injured?

I guess if he goes back to the bench and gets 30 minutes you dont lose too much anyway

Moga is playing outside Oates as well.

    He never passes.

Maybe Moga is a bad option, especially when you consider the risk with his injury history as well.

Did he get much time in the match against Warrington? If he's not starting I think Arrow is a no go but I think he's a prime choice around Origin time. Will only play one major bye round (I think) but Bennett loves resting his Origin stars and so might start at Lock for a game or two while McGuire gets a rest.

Felise was a trap before Harris got injured, now I think he has 80-100k to make, just hope he scores a few tries early so can get him the f*** out of my team.

Frankenstein is even worse but from all reports DCE has been very impressed with him in pre season. With a full pre season in league (pretty sure he came back from rugby union in Japan) he should be better than his ppm from last years games shows. Will just use him to get to someone like TPJ, Arrow or Chricton when the time is right and the inevitable injury occurs.

    My bad.

Was it Roberts playing next to Oates last year? I swear i remember watching Oates and Screaming at him to pass to Roberts. Mostly because he was in my team, but yeah.

I don't think there is a must have premium half. Carty along with a few others are really good options though, since it's a tough position this year. I think he will hold his average.

Firstly, I think if Musgrave stays healthy, he is in the permanent prop rotation. He is a talent and certainly has bigger wraps than Tyrell. In fact, I can't understand how Tyrell is there at all. Maybe a loyalty thing, but Musgrave will be a permanent fixture. Having said that, I can't fit him in my team yet.

Here's my team until tomorrow's changes.

Smith, Brailey (must have cow imo - remember Garvey,Parcell, Lichaa)
    McGuire, Brown, Papalli, Priest
Surgess, Jurbo, Merrin, ET, Sione Mat, Yates
    Walker, Koroisau, Elgey, Field
    Idris, Talakai, Kelly, Suli
    Hayne, RTS, Pythian, Cotric, Fogarty

I've gone heavy in the 2RF this year. Hurt me last year with too many unknowns. I reckon Fogarty will find a permanent spot in the halves soon when Gutho moves back out wider. He's also handy as a DPP for Walker. Also have a sharp eye on Croft, who I think will end up in the Melbourne halves before long with Munster back at FB.

I think MCGuire has upside at lock and reckon N. Brown will eventually get the Eels lock spot. One injury will do it. He has great ppm.

Anyway, good luck this year punters.
