Had food poisoning in a few countries, most notably Egypt, and most likely due to not being used to the 'local' bacterium - a few days of shitting/spewing [usually at the same time] and then all sweet.

I've had commercial kitchens in ALL of my workplaces for over 25+ years, and have been the liason between the Council Inspectors and the Food sub-contractors for the last 7....

Sauce on the side for me with chips. Gravy is a different story though, gravy goes straight on top of those bad boys.

Having a dog lick your face has nothing to do with food safety but thanks for sharing none the less...

Chip packet sizes shrinking.  From 200 grams, to 180 or something, now 170?  I bought a pack of Cheetos the other day as well and they were 130 grams  Shocked.  Since when did 130 grams become an acceptable derivative of the chip sizing scale?

I had an argument at a pub the other day, this is how it went down

shane: can I get a pint of stone and wood
    bartender: sure mate
*pours the drink at the other end of the bar, comes back with a schooner*
shane: hey sorry mate I asked for a pint
bartender: we don't have pints in WA
shane: so, ugh ignoring that incorrect information why didn't you tell me that?
    bartender: it's common knowledge
shane: so you're giving me less beer for the price of a full beer and that's OK?
bartender: I don't make the rules sorry mate
shane: yeah I understand that mate, do you mind if I pay in Canadian dollars? No? I don't like being ripped off either.

Ended up going to the pub next door with a pint

If he thought I meant pot he would have given me a middie and hopefully an uppercut for not ordering a full sized glass.

So Fiddy's description of certain posters having Cheeto dust covering their fingers and down the front off their t-shirt wasn't far off?

My sister in law stands there with the tap running staring blankly until the dish is spotless then puts it in the dishwasher. Ffs. Make the machine work.
