Even if he only averages 200KM thats 10 base points to go with 20 tackles and some RM, good solid scoring that is. Plus if the knights attack improves he adds attacking stats, if they are diabolical again he adds KM.

There's definitely no reason that they can't but it's rare for halves to split kicking duties 50/50. I may be proven wrong and that's no skin off my nose (couldn't care less to tell ya the truth) but I can't see it happening. Lamb gets 150-200 max I'd say. Tbh, I didn't really watch a lot of him last year so I'm flying blind but that's ok.

All else fails I trade him out for Fogarty when he starts or maybe even Jacks if that's the way Melb decides to go. Gotta have a bit of fun with it tho! Ain't living if I ain't running a risk!

Could cronk also improve abit now that blake green is gone

After Farah played his final game for the Tigers, Moses averaged 52. I think now that the Tigers are finally free of him Moses is going to step up and score big.

He did have a 10 earlier in the season in a Farah-less game. but basically any half can get the odd crappy score in there.

Retaining the goal-kicking full time would be a big help - In the final 6 rounds of 2016 he cracked 70 three times (but there was also 54 in round 25 where Rankin kicked 6 goals)

Hampton is the biggest no that ever no'd this year.

As a bench hooker he is overpriced, and is likely to lose you money. Averages 14.3 from the bench, priced at 16.2
Isn't this oversimplifying it a little? I don't know all that much about him and how he was used at the Storm, but isn't it possible/likely he plays a different role with the Cowboys?

I remember reading somewhere just after Archers favourite trail game that Lamb was preferred for long kicks and Hodkinson was preferred for the short attacking kicks.

It would explain the kick metre differences last year in the games they played together. Might carry over to this year too

Hodko only averaged 150KM all year regardless of Lamb, I just enjoy the safer bet lad. Plus Lamb is a reserve in my squad so lessens the risk if he bombs and maybe I'll jump onto TMM Dance

Lots of talk about these halves making 20 tackles in base stats, can anyone tell us how many halves avg 20+ tackles last year, lets say min 5 games.

I did read over a month ago up here in Newcastle that Hodgkinson will still manage his injury like last year but is in a slightly better position this pre-season

Even M Moses who most think would be targeted a lot in D only avg 16.7 tackles

Maybe, but that's a 13 game sample size, average 21 minutes. if you think he'll do better than that at the cowboys, go for it.

But his average and price are boosted by 3 full games at centre where he averaged 30.
