So I'm thinking for trades this week,

Coote out, Moga in via Cotric.
Then my back three will be RTS, Hayne, Cotric/Suli/Phythian.

I also may have enough cash to do McGuire out, JDB in.

Based on a previous post that Tedesco's price will be approx. 520k in round 2 my calculations estimate that every point equates to $925 increase/decrease. Is this rough estimate correct.

Wallace is an odd one. Went off at 20 then came back on at 30 odd mins and played the rest of the game? Surely that is not a planned rotation and was a flow on effect of proctors injury.

Either way he still looks good for 50 mins youd think. I wont be trading him in this week. For me its still a wait and see situation

Joshie still scored more than his average. Why so keen to get him out?

You guys are brave playing Suli in your back three, not to sound petty but it seems more lucky than anything

Yeah look, I switched to Suli when Idris was named on the bench. It was a lucky pick for sure. I basically went with him hoping to see the trend of rookies scoring on debut continue, and just because Tigers vs Souths are typically high scoring games.

I would have been stoked to get 30+. It was him or Pythian.

Got all the successful cows so far so would be trading out one of my successful cows to one that isn't working or is a gamble. It's tough to make that kind of move trading out a gun and a money maker early for another gun. Cotric 36, Suli 52, Jacks 41, Elgey 26, Kaufusi 43 currently in my NPR with Musgrove Jwal KBrom Talakai Brailey in the 17

Good stuff. I don't have talakai or suli, but have moga. Do u have idris and it would be silly to trade him out? I'm thinking it would be. On the other hand il see how Pythian and Kelly go today. Not sure suli will score well but doesn't need to after the 52

Yeah true, happy to keep him.

Will save the cash for Brailey upgrade down the track.

    Nice start.

I will have the same WFB as you next week.
What is your plan with the third starting spot? Are you rotating players around depending on who they are playing? Or you see Suli as the best scorer and playing him every week?

Seeing that 184 from JDB and knowing captain Cam got 1/2 that is sad.

    Oh well.

The thing that makes Thurston so good is his competitive nature and how often he winds up being in positions like that in which he has no right to be. Legend.

Agreed that it's efforts like thurstons that makes him an easy immortal (amazingly unlucky to finish on 1999 career points last night !!!), for me as a Cotric NPR owner, the concern is him being gassed and cramping at the 52 min mark and basically becoming dead weight from there. Granted it's the first game and some match fitness will help but concerning nevertheless.

Suli was a lucky pick, nothing more. His scores will even out as it goes on. Suli scored 51 points with a try, linebreak and two try assists against a shit team. Cotric scored 36 with a few tackle breaks and a try-save against a top team in a tight match.
How Suli would score against a team strong in defence like Cowboys would be the real measure of what a good fantasy player he'd be.

Not sure I agree with this at all, although you could be right.
    For me, my doubts are:
    1. Wallace will get 50+ minutes every week, Neil Henry said he will be "relied upon to play big minutes for us".
    2. McGuire is Musgrove's coach, even though he was their best prop he might be out of the side at any stage (job security).
e.g. Turner to lock, Chricton to second row and Surgess to front row could happen, and suddenly Musgrove could be only getting 30-35 minutes.
I think this would actually be better for the Rabbits. Chricton is a gun, and surgess can just concentrate on not being fancy and just run hard and tackle hard.

I think musgrove will continue to start. The bunnies are to small in the forwards and got bashed. I'd say Gurgess comes in for Tyrell and they bring another big guy (not sure Crichtons size, or if he's injured) to replace Clarke. I'd actually bring a bigger guy into Turners starting place and move him to bench. I doubt that will happen though

Cotric's marking up on Edrick Lee which kind of means 'Run here for a try' although the Panthers right edge was fucking weak yesterday. However it was so bad it never even got to the wings for a try. Thompson/Widdop were the beneficiaries of Cartwright's bad defence.
I think both are good chances of scoring a try but that'd be a flip of the coin decision for next week.

I won't be playing Suli next week thats for sure.

If Idris starts I will play him. Scored 18 in 40 odd mins of football without doing alot, he should score fine over 80 mins once he has the fitness. Will wait and see.

Do you have Wallace? I would gladly trade any gun second rower to JDB and do it fast. Worth the two trades in my eyes.
Then bring back Gallen/Surgess closer to origin once siro/matautia/kaufusi etc have peaked.

Sadly I don't have anyone in the second row priced higher than ET. Will give ET another week.
Another guy I reckon that could be a cut price JDB I might target instead is Finucane, he should be getting 80 now and could average close to 60 for the next few weeks. Might be worth the investment if you can't splash the cash for JDB. Any takers on Finucane?
Apparently we should have about a month without Bromwich.

Already a solid POD option, but I agree that Finucane has some major potential for the next month or so as being that one guy who everyone will acknowledge is scoring great but no one actually ends up bringing into their team for some reason. Similar to PODene early in the season
