I went JWH instead of Wallace initially, and wasn't at all happy with his performance....I'm trying to resist the temptation to get rid of him. It's not going to be easy but I think he deserves a bit more of a look.
But with Wallace potentially continuing to play 80 and JWH 50, more upside to Wallace?

my tv broke wrote:After binning Wallace all pre-season I now want him but cannot justify the trade out of any of my players to do so. All of my midranger's performed to expectations and the guns that didn't fire are definite holds. The only candidate I have is Moeroa which seems very sideways and I expect him to better his scoring anyway in a more flowing game of football.
Might just have to miss Wallace (and Talakai as well) and hope that both do not continue rnd 1's scoring.
Moeroa!
Sounds like you have a perfect candidate for the move to me. Remember, you're also buying yourself some DPP flexibility not just a middle of the ruck worker over enigmatic edge forward
Not at all sideways for mine
Caveat - I have no idea what he even scored in round 1 Moeroa, I just think he is a bit of fluffy clown

Also what is everyone doing with J. Bromwich. It could only be two weeks, and off the options to straight trade him to. (Anyone priced at Taupau's level or less.) Because didn't McGuire get extra minutes this week? (Played almost 70.) Wallace has money making potential, but again had extra minutes due to Proctor. S. Sue has trap written all over it. AFB (Could be an option if he starts.) Matagi (Still not sold he keeps his work rate up.)

Sadly our leagues are all closed up for the year. However if you are floating around next year, would more than love to have you.
Is your next video up?

Trade rage = trading out keepers after one round because they didn't score 90+.

Nothing, he was in a side that lost pretty big. So 0 attacking stats basically and had a massive amount of Missed Tackles (Which comes with an opposing team scoring so much.) and still managed 41 points. So unless you think that will be a common occurrence for the Panthers i would sit tight.

Seems like Wallace is the guy everyone is targeting this week. My question is, do I trade Merrin out for him and grab the 200k? I know he normally starts slow but Wallace looks like he has the same floor as Merrin without the same ceiling.

Scored 35 (his BE), in 80 minutes, basically just tackles and run metres. Ran about 45 decoys, quite often with intent, but gutho and co bypassed him every time. I said it during the game that I'm sure the defense stopped even taking notice of him. It was a bit like Taupau on the left edge last year for manly.
The positive is that he got 80 minutes. I heard in pre season that he would play 80 this year with Mau being the one to be subbed.
With Moeroa you need to get those attacking stats though, offloads/tb's, but he just seemed to get used for settling straight into the defense runs.
Optimist in me says he will see more ball in attacking situations. That game was also extremely stop start, no flow at all to it.

It is more for the cash I can use to upgrade my other positions. I am well aware that Merrin is a keeper but round 1 is where you need to sort out the flaws of your initial team. I have nobody else to downgrade besides Smith, and you know that isn't happening..

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13
bit of thinking to do, part of me wants to go Turbo -> Suli to go Pritchard -> McInnes because i feel like running without him will be losing points... but Pritchard getting 35 without barely any attacking stats for a game where the Eels had all the ball makes me think there's a more money in him provided De Gois stays away.
the other option is going Lawrence -> AFB/Matagi, Cronk -> Johnson/Norman, and just hoping Pritchard is able to bridge the gap money-wise

I was mainly meaning because of the stuff that came up yesterday about his personal life. Do you think it could result in him missing games? I was happy with his 41 considering the game and his missed tackles.

If you see anything suspicious please shout out and I'll check it, could have stuffed somethign up when transferring everything to the new season.
The 3 price projections are
16 average (there 2016 average, or if they didn't play in 2016, their priced average) Once we get to round 4 this will be replaced with their 2017 average
3 game average (last score plus 2 scores at their priced average) Once people have played 3 games this will be a true 3 game average
Last score - there actual last score (and I filter out anyone who has played 0 games, so this will always be an actual score0
And for those that care, the MN from round 1 was 9311, slightly down on the starting number of 9475.
Enjoy - will copy this post onto first post in the thread, and the stats link sticky in the forum

Nah I'd trade out Smith as well. He under performed after 1 round - he has got to go!
