52 tries! Now I really need him in my team.

But on a more serious note, at his price... Compared to Wallace, Bunty, and the other mid-rangers... I don't think he's a bad option, with a 72 under the belt... It will keep his avg up for a while

If your happy with 20/30s go hard.

There was talk on a Souths forum that A-Rey could play this week.

My first thoughts - trade that fucking lump o shit. But post trade rage, mayyybe give him 1 more chance? He is capable of 50's.....

I reckon you should trade him for his brother Jacob. Got bulk minutes (41 vs 39) and looked far better on defense. Daniel was lazy.

They need him back ASAP. I still don't think the Rabbitohs will make the 8 though regardless.

    No I'm not clown

Just being sarcastic. Seriously though, what was your point in having Saifiti in the first place? It was to bridge the gap between midranger whilst getting 45s and then upgrade to a gun, but do it quickly over say the first 5/6 rounds.
That was my plan with Prior. Even though Prior played well he scored 33, not sure he will be scoring much more than say 42 and hes not going to make huge money.

I'm jumping straight onto Wallace and hoping for scores above 40 and will ride him to JBrom.
The only thing you are doing by holding DSaifiti is losing cash and then holding him for longer than intended so you can make cash back to his starting price, getting middling 30's. At this stage its a luxury to sideways trade him but I would be if it was me.

Shouldn't our strategy to burn through trades in the first 3-4 weeks getting missed cows/mid range to gun jumpers/trading out injured players so that we can have a few solid weeks of good scoring before origin flips the table on us?

I wouldn't be so trade conservative now, if you watched the game of your trade in targets and they performed well, jump on them.

Keary might be a good pick and go on to average 40s from here, Wallace may just be a tackle bot of the Etaylor ilk, Dsaifiti may have lost his motivation and not perform.

You can guarantee i'll be making 2 trades this week.

I think you should definitely use trades early if you need to. Alot of options I have seen discussed are very sideways or based off ONE score, whether its good OR bad.

There are obviously pointers to indicate whether one or the other will continue, eg if I had D Saifiti I wouldn't be keeping him, but that said I never had any intention of starting with him in the first place, I just didn't see where the points would come from.

Agree with Clack Blocks. But if you already have ample cash cows it may be wise to just hold. Given everyone will be making good quick cash this year I think getting a gun 17 for round 12 is going to be very important.

Guys like Surgess, J Graham, Norman, Gutherson, French, Gallen, Croker, Whitehead, Rapana, Friend, Cook, Walker, Latrell Mitchell, Gordon, Keary, SKD could all be very valuable come origin time.

Also, whispers are that Cook will get the nod at fullback.

Is Prior to J Wallace worth it to get JBrom in 4/5 weeks time?

The only thing stopping me from trading out Surgess is the Manly situation so I think he's a great chance for points. JDB is an obvious target for me & since I already have Fifita I'm thinking of turning Gallen into JDB. I know ET is a favourite on here but I think he'll play the same mins as in 2016 & sure he'll get a good score on occasions but he could be my enabler for JDB.

Yes, Pythian won't play again and we are not certain there will be tackle breaking centres come up as cash cows again this year. Leaning towards Moga, I have him but not Talakai.

btw, I'm not getting Keary in, just wanted to explore the possibilities.

The Roosters style of play is different from the Rabbitohs and might be favourable to Keary fantasy wise...

for some... a change of club is a good thing... for others it's a dissaster

Cook to fullback makes sense especially if you are thinking long term. Farah, Walker, Reynolds and Cook as the spine. This is of course speculation but gets them all on the field for 80.

I've never seen anyone go through nearly as many random trade ideas as you mate :pp:
Trading Gal to JDB is just ridiculous.

WL will throw up about 12 different trade idea during the week then either make none, or one that he hasn't even brought up before

There's a 19 man Sharks team on Facebook with Nu Brown dropped and four forwards on the bench.  No idea if it's legit.
