I was bringing Musgrove in this week but could afford Gurgess.

    Thoughts?

I wouldn't risk Gurgess yet. Musgrave will play the same minutes, and Gurgess would probably come off the bench. If you could wait until final teams are named, maybe. It's not confirmed and I don't trust Madge or his weird selections lately. I like Musgrave as a cow, but don't be expecting 50's. Gurgess injury still worries me.

Who's everyone captaining? Think I'll hold firm on Smith. Other options JDB, or even Gallen (don't think I'd take that punt).

All pre-season they would have worked on that halves combo and had others fill in for Inglis, makes no sense to throw it all out the window before even playing together

I agree, but Walker has plenty of FB experience- was great there's last year. Sutton was a 5/8 for 10 years and still plays like one at times. They switch at training all the time. Jennings and Burns both should be in first grade. Time will tell, but you're probably right. This week anyway.

Smith or Fifita for me, cause I don't have JDB. Probably just stick with Smith.

I think he was referring to Madge and the team changes mate, not you.

Power to the people Rabs !

If reports were broadcast in a remote forest but no one was around,  does that mean there is nothing to report ?

Keep it coming, we need all the sauce we can get.

    I was lucky enough to avoid most of the disappointments last week (except Mannering) and score 822 with this team;

    Smith Brailey
    McGuire Vaughan Faufusi (IPapalii)
JDB Mannering ET Wallace (MCK Yates)
    Gutherson Lamb Elgey (Hingano)
    Talakai SMat (Idris Kelly)
    Jayne RTS TTurbo (Suli Pythian)

    $60k Bank

I had Lolo in my team all pre-season until the Gurgess curveball forced a reshuffle, so here's my trades to get him in

Elgey to Jacks (free up cash)
    Vaughan to Lolo (via Wallace)

    Leaves me with $0 (which is a concern) but my team would look like this;

    Smith Brailey
    McGuire Wallace Faufusi (IPapalii)
JDB Mannering ET Lolo (MCK Yates)
    Gutherson Lamb Jacks (Hingano)
    Talakai SMat (Idris Kelly)
    Jayne RTS TTurbo (Suli Pythian)

Vaughan performed great ppm wise (as usual) but thought that he would see increased minutes based on the fat cheque the dragons coughed up.

    Any thoughts or opinions appreciated

I for one appreciate any updates or hot tips you post regarding Souths. Your rugby league knowledge is above and beyond a good majority of posters on this forum - you are a great contributor to this forum.

Madge is looking stressed out. If you watch his face during interviews you see it in his eyes and his facial expressions. I think he knows that if Souths don't fire soon he could very well be out the door.

According to my data he hasn't played in heavy rain in the past 2 years.

He played in showers twice in 2016
rd 13 for 58 fantasy points
Finals week 3 for 52 points

And showers twice in 2015 (I'm missing a bit of weather data here so possibly there are a few I don't have)
    rd7 for 76 points
    rd8 for 58 points

Is holding Jbrom a worth while exercise?

I want him in my team eventually, If I sold now, I could bring in some short term money makers, wait for his $$ to drop, then bring back in around Rd 7. Could be trade heavy though. But its the right end of the season to make those sort of actions.

    Thoughts everyone?

An average of 61. Think I'll still take spin on JDB and hope he plays 80
