Going to be an interesting week this week trade wise....I somehow managed to not use a trade last week...but this week I'd use 4 if I had them. HA!

Ponga and Hess for Talakai and Pythian seems worth the outlay if named to start this week

I'm definitely doing the first one. I think Jennings is a must have @ his price. Kromwich > Hess for me. Looks like Kaufusi is the 80 minute man at the Storm. I like the other Kaufusi @ the Cows too, with their prop problems. I already have him. Might throw an R on him this week.

I'm going into bye planning mode early. Sharks likely to have Holmes, Bird, Fifita, Graham in or close to the origin team. Downgrading KBrom to Capewell leaves me with 208k in the bank and pushing Kaufusi into the 17. Ponga/Jennings/Anderson to come into the team for Phythian

Big JT to prop to cover Scott, Hess to starting spot surely?
I'm not touching any Souths players, I like Reynolds but he is too injury prone, Gurgess is back and will cut Musgroves minutes, the backs are a lottery at that club

I don't get all this talk about dropping ET (I mean, please drop him, don't let me persuade you otherwise) - the guy has been fantastic. His scores have been a bit lower than expected due to time in the blood bin....but he's been a beast. I think a massive game from him isn't too far away.

Yeah he's not a guy that's even crossed my mind to drop.
If you have both him and KBRom for example stop even mentioning him. ET is long term different class to most 300odd k forwards

I'm looking at downgrading Kromwich (started with him and Faufusi knowing that one of them was likely to disappoint) and upgrading Jayne...

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 17
Am I right in thinking it's too early to trade out K.Bromwich?
Last year he averaged 34pts in 42mins (0.8PPM).
So far this year he has played 71mins and 55mins in his first two games. So while his scores thus far may be somewhat disappointing, they should bounce back if he continues to play around the 60min average.

Everyone seems to be on the Hess train, with a -3 BE where do you see him finishing up $$ wise
This week with Taumalolo out with suspension he will get decent minutes but the following week?
TLT will be interesting
Are people using him as a quick cash grab or something more long term into origin? Ride his score up to a Whitehead/Bromwich
If he scores 40 for the next 4 weeks he maxes out at 70k earned, worth the trade in and out or better looking at a 138k player
Last year he averaged 33 from 49 minutes (only 5 game spread) and 3 tries
This year he has scored 2
No question about his try scoring ability and is a large body, just wondering peoples thoughts on him as why not start the season with him?

Shoulder charge, yes forgot about that...dam lucky they are playing Manly this weekend who have a park footy forward pack due to suspensions
Wonder how the cows pack will get reshuffled
Surely once Big JT is back, he will cover Scotts spot and Hess to lock?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 17
So this week after I go Hayne to Ponga I'm not really too sure if there's any urgent trades I need to make so thought I'd ask what is the first thing to be worrying about.
- Potentially trading out Gallen and/or ET. Scores aren't terrible but Gallen in particular ain't scoring to his standard and I could free up a ton of cash getting him out for Hess or I could trade him out for JDB this week.
- Burns to Rennings. He got 10 in a side that ran rampant. Probably a sideways waste of a trade to make some quick cash but still.
- Finding a replacement for Leota or I Papalii. Nobody too good I can afford and Faufusi can cover an injury but two red dots in my FRF bench don't sit well with me. Man if Christian Welch started more often I'd get him but Bromwich due back

At the very least, he's hardly bleeding cash.
