ET plays after Hess so I have the option. Problem is that waiting means I can only do 1 trade of Hayne to Rennings this week as Bulldogs and Titans have already played. So would miss Abbey, TRD and Montoya. And all other players apart from Idris I would consider trading would be locked in, but then all my trade options and DPP would be too. So I will make a judgement call but Hess against Blake Green , Frankenstein and Kelly should at least rack up some tackle breaks in 55 minutes off the bench (should still score 30 points).

Ah ok, that's good for you, although I'm not convinced ET is a trade out... but I dont own him so easy for me to say Smile

I think Hess is too much of a risk given my situation (i.e. not knowing if he will start or not, and considering it would have to be Kromwich as the trade out). It will fit better for others like your self who have the option of waiting to see if he starts and also those who are in an obvious trade down or up situation.

I've got some catching up to do on the forum... and it looks like I've got some fires to put out, and some new cash cows to acquire. Plenty of changes this round

You have so many red dots and normally you could try fix that this week but that means playing Elgey and most likely Lamb gets out of range. I would find a d/g for kromwich and upgrade to Lamb. Next week python

Yeah a bit gutted about PKau but at least I got Wallace who has been good so far. And you never know what PKau will get up to. But it does look like those that have himi already at least will get some reward.

Yup I wondered about Elgey to Lamb.... I had Lamb in my team for much of the pre-season but bailed on him to get Norman (of all people) once I had decided on Brailey over McInness....

Anyway that's all in the past. I guess I have two options
    1) As you say downgrade KBrom to ?? to get Lamb for Elgey but then I would have to start either my downgrade player or Yates.
    2) or fix the red dots and in doing so run with Elgey. Talakai to Rennings and Python to TRD, Edwards, Abbey, Ponga?

I would be amazed if Brett Morris isn't at fullback for the Dogs. He's a bloody good fullback. Mind you, I'm amazed he isn't fullback ahead of Hoppa. Hasler is weird.

Other prediction fwiw is that Asiata will get Taumalolo's starting spot but Hess will get decent minutes.

I thought this too.  Surely they switch game day.

So that following the high % ownership thing I whined about the other day. Ponga 37% means you get and play him as insurance?

Would be very surprised if Lowe (50 minutes) isn't at lock with Cooper/Hess playing 80 on an edge. Leaves 6 players to play in the middle to pick up the void.

Bolton, Paufusi, Lowe, Asiata, Hoare and 1 of Fensom/Spina/Jensen. Either way Hess will play 60 minutes and I will be happy with 35 points given he will make good money.

If Abbey isn't a runner maybe his scores won't be that great even from fullback, despite the kicking duties. Happy to watch this week. Bulldogs will miss Hopoate on attack.

Montoya could go well if he breaks a lot of tackles.

Even if Abbey gets moved to the wing, doggies wingers historically seem to score pretty decently so I reckon its worth a punt either way

OK, there is a certain practise that needs to stop.

    Surgess, Gurgess, Turgess were acceptable.

Its is not a trend that is to be extended to other players.

Paufusi? Dalker!? There is no universe on which these are acceptable ways to refer to players.

    Thank you.

Now everyone trade in the new dogs fullback.
Nobody leaves Babbey in the corner.

    wolfking wrote:None of these cash cows this week look tempting at all this week.  Maybe just Talakai to Abbey to bank the cash.  Looks like I'm stuck with Cartwright too.  Norman out just makes me want to skip this week and move to round 4.  Team I'll be running if I don't trade;

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace Musgrove Yates
Surgess Cartwright SMat Sironen Kaufusi Winterstein
    Lamb Elgey Norman Jacks
    Moga Kelly Idris Talakai
    RTS Turbo Cotric Suli Hayne

Any thoughts?  Would like to run both Cotric and Suli but don't have the DPP option unless I cash out Talakai.  Don't trust either Moga or Kelly this week.

Anyone help me with this. Just run with what I have? Thinking about playing safe and steady and stockpiling money for a few weeks and doing the Talakai to Abbey trade. This will able me to play Suli over Moga or Kelly and leaves me with 192K. Hoping Elgey bounces back and looking to hold Jacks, he'll get more games for sure.

I think I've sorted out my trades.

    1. When confirmed Abbey lining up FB Koro>Abbey via Guth $221k itb

    2. Save OR decide to do Dalker>Ponga leaving $391k for future dud cow to fallen guns

I can leave 2 till Cowboys Manly play and have Cotric as the necessary DPP who plays the following day

Stockpile the cash. Means in like a couple of weeks you can just go boom from Sironen to Whitehead and Musgrove to JBrom. I'd definitely hold Jacks. Either Slater gets injured again or he stays on the field and gets picked for Origin.

Thanks mate, that's what I'm leaning towards. JBrom and Whitehead definitely ripe for easy picking soon. Talakai the only good option to cashout this week IMO. Hayne for me at the moment is a hold.
