So I always know how this looks when someone has a "reliable inside scoop", and I am quite frankly as surprised to be on the other side of this situation as anybody. Yet for whatever reason, I have a reliable inside scoop and you may (and probably will) choose not to believe me- but I have got a good solid line that Fensom will start 13, and Hess starting Prop, pushing Kaufusi back to the bench.

I am so confident in my source I am running as this is gospel to my own team changes this week, but I would hate for someone to make some bad choices based on my misinfo. I am looking forward to seeing if I am right more than anybody!

I'm making the same trades. Don't trust that Idris fella. To make money out of him you'd have to play the long con but damn you just look at him and you see this guy ain't ready for first grade again by a long shot.

    None of these cash cows this week look tempting at all this week. Maybe just Talakai to Abbey to bank the cash. Looks like I'm stuck with Cartwright too. Norman out just makes me want to skip this week and move to round 4. Team I'll be running if I don't trade;

    Smith Brailey
    Fifita Wallace Musgrove Yates
Surgess Cartwright SMat Sironen Kaufusi Winterstein
    Lamb Elgey Norman Jacks
    Moga Kelly Idris Talakai
    RTS Turbo Cotric Suli Hayne

Any thoughts? Would like to run both Cotric and Suli but don't have the DPP option unless I cash out Talakai. Don't trust either Moga or Kelly this week.

The risky option is trade to Hess use the cash on an upgrade (maybe Talakai via via Suli) then be prepared in 2-3 weeks to dump Hess for White head (while making a profit) just be ready to accept a couple of 30's but really hope he hits those 50's

2nd option is get a POD like Aubs who has decent byes is scoring well and isnt the mr backline fix-it anymore. This allows you to switch him and Sione to the centres when youre back cows are ripe and bring in some gun 2nd rowers. Also gives you 60k to hold. Then maybe d/g Talakai if you want the shinny new cow at the back or save a trade.

3rd option is get a mid to cheap cash cow and use the 200k to upgrade Elgey/Hayne/Talakai to a gun

Interesting then with Hess. Hard to identify the type of minutes he'd get in the middle if he starts at prop but it probably means Lowe and Cooper play 80 and Hess plays around 40 with the other middle props.

why dont people name their "reliable inside scoop" if its from a player say so (no need for players name) or someone on coaching staff why not? I dont think clubs track this thread looking for leaks

Hoare has to pass a concussion test this week, if he makes it he gets the last bench spot, if he does not Corey Jensen comes in

Thanks Shanbon. I have actually thought about all three of those options. If I knew Hess was going to be named, I'd jump on him. Funny you mention Aubbs too as I've looked at him really closely too. He is tempting. Still would have gotten around a 50 without that try too.

I know as soon as I trade Carty though he will burn me.

That would fuck up both Paufusi and Hess from a fantasy perspective. And my team

    Friendly notice.

If you are captaining Cam Smith this week, please select a vice captain from Storm vs Broncos. I'm assuming everyone has someone else playing in the game - McGuire, Moga, Felise, Kaufusi or the like.

As soon as he takes the field he'll be locked in as captain and your vc selection will be irrelevant, so there is 0 point in needless locking in another player as VC.

You'd be pissed if Fifita/JDB/whoever was a late withdrawl from their game but you couldn't do anything because they were locked in as VC.
Unless you are worried about Cam Smith being named in the final 17 and then injuring himself in warmup - in that case, by all means pick a VC based on who you think will score well.

If he is a starting prop, it could still be worth the trade. Could still get 50-60 minutes.

Maybe not this particular thread, but you can bet there are people who could care about players leaking team info onto twitter/facebook whatever.

If people don't want to name their sources, that is fine. As long as people aren't deliberately posting crap, its up to everyone to make their own decisions on what info to base their team selections on.
