Well done mate. Great score.
I am just curious as to whether you got Hoare in or Hess.
I'm not trying to call you out on this because clearly you are doing a lot better than most on here but when you said you had a problem with some of the advice on this forum,
and then went out on a limb to say that people should get Hoare in over Hess, I guess you had the long term viewpoint with this.
I bypassed Hess because his minutes could reduce significantly back to 40-50 minutes when Lolo is back, but just wanting to know more about Hoare.
Looking for a replacement for Isiah Papalii this weekend and you were talking him up a bit.

I'm so glad I started the season with Gutho. Wasn't really considering him until I saw Milchcows post about his games at 5/8th before 5 points higher then his starting price average. So hats off to the Cow for his solid Fantasy advice.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread part 20
With Gutho, he has scored 3 tries in 3 games. By my reckoning that's an extra 45 with the 3 LBs and 3 TBs that went with them (2, 1 and 0 TBs for his tries).
Without tries he would have been about a 40 point average. It's fair to say the Eels have played weaker defensive sides (maybe not dragons) in the Sea Eagles and Titans.
What I expected was that Norman will take bulk kicking, run the show, get bulk TAs, LBAs and guth would play a bit part and maybe score some low 30s.
It will be interesting to see how he goes against the Sharks and the Raiders in the next two games but I'm thinking is base score will be about 30, with some 50s in there too.
Averaging out to 40.
He has had scores of 71 and 58 and I'm expecting him to hit a 20-35 score in the next two weeks. However, I am a bit jealous I don't own him because it seems as though he is a second fullback out there, so fit and good support play will lead to those tries continuing I would think. Was just hoping he would drop in price before byes so I could pick him up.
Well done to those that had the balls to run with him. Goal kicking an added bonus.

@Warriors- If Gutho can average 40+ for the season I might hold him all year even after the byes for WFB depth. Being dual status is so handy also.

In both of the last two games, Guth has been on about 30 points after 5 minutes. He's still a solid scorer without tries (not many of the missed tackles that plague other halves) but wouldn't be expecting regular 50+ games.

My expectations were a little different and for once they were actually right about bang on. I expected he'd lose a lot of kick metres to Normz but he'd make up for it with his running game and some more time training purely as a 5/8. With the 40's average playing 5/8 to finish 2016 I thought he was undervalued and the goal-kicking was just a bonus.
I thought it was actually pretty low-risk to be honest. Get a HLF's scores in the inconsistent WFB position. His start to the year has just been an unexpected surprise.
