Oh I know that mate but will need 60-80 minutes to go far and above Musgrove and at present doesn't have that outlook I don't think...SI wrote:
Crichton has a massive upside to Musgrove mate points wise. If Crichton starts long term he could make 150-200k. The problem is his job security obviously. I rally want him and kept him in Ultimate even though not in the 17 Round 1 because of his potential.

“He’s not going to be able to play 24 rounds and hopefully semi-finals. We can’t expect him to play 80 minutes for 24 games, so we’ll need some help there.
“You need three hookers in your roster. Manaia Cherrington is getting used to our systems and we have some utilities in Nu Brown and Daniel Mortimer but Mortimer is out for 6-8 weeks with a knee injury.
“We need some support around Jayden. He’s going to be a long-term hooker for the club, so it’s a good position for him to be in.
“This year will be enjoyable for Jayden but the next five to 10 years will be his time to shine.”

“All the players were probably wondering in the off-season how we were going to fill the void of Michael and it was probably a bit of a concern for them,” Flanagan said.
“They knew we were going to have a good footy team but who will fill the hole? I knew what was coming through and now they’ve seen it and gravitating to him. They love his qualities. He’s a level-headed kid and a really good trainer.
“We’ve seen in his games he’s got a real good temperament. He sticks to plans and handles pressure. That’s all about character and they like that.”
While Brailey is a fresh face to the casual fan, he’s been in the Sharks’ NRL system for 24 months and is well-versed in their style and beliefs.
The winner of the 2016 Dally M Rookie of the year award, Brailey has earned the trust of his teammates and in particular Chad Townsend.
“Him being a local junior, I don’t want him to feel like he’s under pressure and as a team we back him 100 per cent,” Townsend said.

I've seen this brought up a few times. I don't see why Crichton wouldn't keep his spot. I severely doubt they moved Sutton, Walker and AJ just because a two game winger got suspended.
I doubt Madge would move AJ to the wing for one game just to put him back at fullback a week after. Surely if that was your long term plan to play AJ at fullback you'd give him every opportunity to play there and learn.
Since Burns is out just one week they could have done the short term fix of playing Neilson or Turner in the centres then id be worried about Crichtons security.

Then swapping Aubs to CTR with Smat (as roosters play on Thursday night). Play Smat as one of my reserves, if he doesn't pass concussion protocol thus week he'll become an NPR.
Long term, once one of the rookie cash cows peaks in the centres I'll put Smat and Aubs both in the CTRs
Keeping Smat for the time being, maybe bring BJ in later this season
