AL my good man, how are we!

I've just decided on with SIs help

    Musgrove - Crichton
    Moses - Whitehead via DPP

also gets SMat into my CTRs

Hey Welshy, Walker into the halves I am guessing is part of the equation? Good moves and SMat is better served in the centres if possible. I don't have that DPP flexibility unfortunately.

Just looking at the FOG rankings goes to show the damage one or two bad selections can make - Moses I am looking at you. I share 19/25 players with Zazu Kinights at the top and the only difference of any real note is SJ over Moses. And I am well over 200 points behind. Gonna be a tough slog from here, usually i start well and hang on for grim death as the season progresses and trades run out!

Cheers mate, yeah I knew Yates was inflated but just thinking if Seggy does end up on the bench and given Musgrove on the bench, all three might score much the same, but I was definitely leaning towards Brailey.

I figured Hunt and Talakai were straight swaps so I left them out.

But really if its just Burns for one week why bother putting Walker back there?

Because for this weeks game the team is stronger playing Walker at FB and Sutton in the halves. They need someone with experience on the wing to cover Tupou plus Walker has played FB previously and did okay. Plus his defense is better then AJ's.

I don't expect this team lineup to last longer then this week I mean why break up a halves partnership that was just starting to gel?

May be a long shot but Moceidreke may slot onto the wing and AJ back to FB however you would think they will stick with the team named.

Because it's just for one week? Who knows what Madge is thinking, but Johnson is pretty keen on FB and Maguire has said he gets a real chance to cement it now. He is happy with Burns. Seems that Taklakai and Jennings are playing for a centre spot and heres there chance.

I think Madge just is a crazy enough bastard to shift his whole team around just for the one week. It's not as if they are all unfamiliar roles, bunnies made it to two semi finals with Sutton in the halves, and Cody Walker has shown to be just as adept at fullback as half. I think Braiden Burns will look to take his position back next week, pushing everyone back to their previous positions. That is not to say that Crichton still does not take Turners starting position. I would give it to him if I was the coach. But it is a big if, and the trade from Musgrove is always going to be super sideways unless he keeps that position.

I mean, if not for injury how often do coaches change a winning team? 2 on the trot, albeit against weaker teams.
When the Roosters spank the Rabbits this week (and I sadly predict that the will) he will go back to the setup that was winning games

Yes mate CWalker and his DPP already serving a purpose

    You got any banked cash?

Same boat as you fella, DSaifiti over Wallace and Moses over Norman/SJ has murdered me early doors, at least the McCullough choice is paying off as Brailey owners will soon be going in different directions when changing teams

Hey Rabs I don't get why Madge doesn't play Burns and Jennings on the same side? I thought they did so in NSW cup and carved up?

Turner signed for 3 years yesterday. I don't see him losing a starting spot and Sutton has been great as an 80 minute back rower. Sam isn't going anywhere. Chrichton could be a trap, or with an injury or two....gold. Too risky for me at those $

BroncHose wrote:Hey @Archer Any idea what has happened to Hodgsons numbers this year?

I'm doubtful of finding the cash to go Brailey to McInnes, so I'm thinking of stepping through Hodgson as he plays rd12 then, assuming his numbers pick up after buying low, he could be upgraded to McInnes from there.

Last couple of games, his base stats were well down, but so were the negatives.
This was asked in the ultimate thread as well and if I'm honest, I've no idea really.

He was rested last game, so that accounts for some of it i guess and the previous two games were losses.  We've still been doing the same thing at the line (Hodgo hitting a forward and wrapping around etc.) so in terms of Try's and TA's i wouldn't expect much change and perhaps its just a bit of bad luck to have not landed any yet.

As for the defensive workload, if those are different I'm also a little lost. I guess it might have had something to do with having a lot of workers on the field at the same time (Whitehead, Soli, Papa, Bateman) while we accounted for Croker being out. Normally Soli and Bateman would split some time so there would be one less out there i guess. I haven't really compared the numbers though from this year or last season so its a bit of a stab in the dark.

Looks like he'll be good for a low 40s average when fit. Which is about a $50k increase on where he is now.
Nice, but not so big that I must keep him, especially if he misses a week or so due to concussion, or if the new coach decides to move him back into front row.

I can just swap him straight for whitehead now - rather than waiting a week or so for Sironen
    Any other good ideas

Good spot/find but I Just might be a little sick in my mouth if I end up with another tiger!

Carrying already Suli Idris Chee-Kam outside of Ted and ET, and the sooner I have just the latter 2 the happier I will be. Shiiiiit I'm doing it again. That will be 3 trades at CTR Laughing

I can't believe the Warriors are only $1.84/$1.97 underdogs this weekend at the moment. Surely they get smoked?
