Is it fair to say the NRL.com predicted line up is just what they think will happen? And the only thing that has actually been confirmed is that Elliot and Tupou have been dropped out. And Newcastle have advised PetMat will go to FB.

Outside of that it is just speculation that SMat will got to Centre and Yates to the starting 2RF spot right?

The only official lineup is the one that comes 1 hour before kick off.

Anything that comes before then is subject to change (within the remaining 19 players)

Even statements from the Knights like Pet Mat playing fullback are not a 100% guarantee (although it's probably fairly safe to assume that's what will happen)

I reckon they could caveat the whole thing by saying this is their predicted lineup.

Currently, given they are the official site of the comp, it reads as if its a done deal:
"Updated Knights: The Knights have made some changes with Peter Mata'utia replacing Brendan Elliot, Sione Mata'utia shifting to the centres, with Luke Yates coming into the starting pack"

    They could/should say:
"Updated Knights: The Knights have made some changes with Peter Mata'utia replacing Brendan Elliot, we predict Sione Mata'utia will shift to the centres, with Luke Yates coming into the starting pack"

    Nice.

Yes to Cotric, seems the safest out of the cash cow backs.

    Watch him score 11 now.

I am playing Cotric and I would say Idris as I have more faith in Hayne.

I think both Hayne and Idris will come good later this season. If you still have them, why trade them out?

Cotric is the only cheapie I'm playing in my backs this week. Hopefully he scores 25+

Yup exactly, I understand that, but many don't. Hence when some people read something on the official site re lineups such as the one posted they believe that is what is going to happen and get confused. My suggestion is the NRL change their wording to make that clear.

    Thought so regarding Cotric.

Idris I'm quite happy to leave there, but I don't think Hayne will bounce back to be anything worth while to be honest. Seems like he is pretty set in his ways, but he was a gun so anything is possible. Could trade Moga instead but all he needs is another good game to get going.

Hoping for a big game from Tedesco this week!!

I'm not making any trades this week. 32 left now. Will save them to make up ground during Origin I think. Might have the luxury of just bringing in players for a week or 2 while others are playing Origin using my extra trades.

    Thats my thinking anyway.

You have more faith in Moga to get going than Hayne? The level of hate for a low priced former gun on here amazes me. I'm assuming it must be a personal thing that people are letting interfere with their fantasy.

Tedesco has been quiet the last couple so I expect him to belt it out this week. He still scores well though even with a quiet game. Good work saving those trades mate. I'm going to have to start saving some soon.

Since Hayne has joined the Titans he has been nothing but underwhelming.

Play Cotric, Moga or Kelly? Leaning towards Cotric just over Moga. Want a score better than 25.

Cotric, Kelly, Moga, in that order.

Teddy against Storm, Dragons, Eels, Dogs, Sharks next 5 games. All big defensive forward packs that the Tigers will struggle against. Will still average 40 odd but at least will start coming down in price. Happy not to chase Barnett and Teddy since round 1 so far.

My trades now are focussed on the Bye round 12... I brought in Aubusson this week, next week I'll bring in Whitehead, and the following week Bodene

I already have JGraham, Surgess, Norman, Gutherson, Aubusson, and RTS as guns in each position... plus a few cheapies for Round 12

I'll probably drop Smith for Friend for the Bye period, and keep McInnes throughout.

It is interesting aye. I think you may be right in that people are jumping off the Hayne Train too early Wink Im one of them though and the rationale is that all the other options I have to downgrade at this stage are (1) playing each week, (2) have low enough BEs that they are expected to make more money and (3) are currently valued less than Hayne.

So when I need the $ to upgrade unfortunately Hayne seems like the logical choice. The ? mark I guess though is that is that decision too short sighted. I would have otherwise loved to have held him.

My main reasoning is that there are massive value buys coming up and I will need the cash so Hayne's gotta go. If he comes back firing then I'll burn a trade and happily bring him back in but when I do my team will hopefully be more stacked that it would have otherwise been if I'd held him for the duration of his injury.

I'd bet my avater for a year that Hayne will outscore Moga for the year. You call him underwhelming but your looking at him as a franchise player who's getting payed too much, as far as fantasy goes he's a $200k fullback whos scored 42 points in 110 minutes of football and has huge upside. Even at that average without any improvement that puts Hayne at 32ppg, do you really think Moga is good for that?

I don't mind what you're doing as to me the reasoning is sound. Generally the only time I offer much advice on here is when I see people doing silly things based on inaccurate information and you aren't doing that. The last time I had a discussion with someone about a player it was Holmes and we've all seen how that has turned out.
