So the cowboys 1-17 team is as expected 2 weeks ago. I wonder how many went Hoare/Ponga? Hess i understand as he will have 2-3 more weeks of price rises

Are Whitehead and Bodene my best options?
Also considering Maubbs for future CTR move
Bodene good for 50+ most weeks and this will most likely be the cheapest he gets all year. I'm trying my best to free up a little cash for him but there's no real options unless I kill off a spot right now

O'Niell and Winterstein are both missing from the best 17. No idea of eithers return date.

with suaso sue moved to prop rotation??
As starting 2nd rowere last year he averaged low 30s.
An improvement on what he is priced at - but perhaps not enough to justify a trade.
Would be better if you could wait a week or 2 for a potential new coach who might have different ideas about how to use him.

Any reliable information as to whether he'll be around or not.
apparently Brown has his doubt about Lamb passing the Fitness tests this week... (no reliable , rumour mill)

I went Hoare.
One year I'll manage to avoid the obvious traps that stare me in the face.
Will be almost certainly be converting him to Whitehad/Bodene/other this week.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
I can bring Bodene in but my options for trade out are Elijah Taylor, Curtis Sironen, Musgrove, and AFB.
ET out now seems a little sideways as its still a bit unknown whether he will play 80. The other three all have low BE's.
I could just sit on it a week but Thompson looks like pumping out 50's again and its hard to wait for that even though he still has a 50+ BE this week
Im also considering trading out Brian Kelly instead of Moga. In four games Kelly averages 30 and has scored 4 tries. Moga has yet to score a try and averages 25. Eventually that has to swing around, but maybe it won't?
Any thoughts on both of the above?

Its OK - Newcastle play before Melbourne so can just sub jacks in if he's out
Or maybe just play Jacks anyway

Zero Tackle says;
NAME REASON EXPECTED RETURN
Antonio Winterstein Broken arm Indefinite
Josh Chudleigh ACL Indefinite
Matthew Scott ACL Next Season
Shaun Hudson ACL Next Season
Justin O'Neill Hamstring Round 7
and NRL.com reckons
Cowboys: Josh Chudleigh (ACL, season), Matthew Scott (ACL, season), Antonio Winterstein (broken arm, Round , Justin O'Neill (knee, indefinite)
don't know why it's doing that but it is Antonio Winterstein broken arm round 8

Those are your best options... the Bodene trade can wait a week, the Whitehead trade can probably wait 2 weeks
But why wait when you can jump on Podene now... at 1.5% ownership what's not to like

Based on this GGM seems like a decent trade in for the next few for those like me who need a quick cash grab

Lamb -> PODene (via May)
I knew the 2RF/HLF DPP was going to be convenient

Would anyone still bring Hess in this week?
Low BE, and first cab off the rank if anyone is injured or Cooper/Lowe play SOO

Given I've just remembered Whitehead is suspended this week - definitely won't be bringing him in this round

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 24
Tough week to decide which way to go with trades, feel like this could be one of the turning points in the season. Its the last chance to jump on some guys before they are out of reach and youre waiting till rd18 to get them into final team but at the same time its also the time some guns are bottoming out.
My 1st trade looks like Hayne to CHN to get SMat into centres. The 2nd will be Cordner out and i can get any frontrower or 2nd rower but i dont know which one. I will give Bodene 1 more look before going that way, im not a fan of SKs coaching so need to make sure he is back to 80min. Whitehead suspended gives me more time on him. Thinking Surgess as he has looked good the last 2 weeks and barring injury would have smashed it last week, has good byes but i could have started with him and i didnt so its hard to go back haha

For what its worth Kevin Naiqama has been named in no 4 (normally wears 3)
So looks like he'll be playing with Suli on the left (with LittleJohn/Brooks), and Idris with Nofoaluma on the right (with Moses)

Why would you sell Lamb? One dud score. Still has money to make and consistent scores

Who benefits the most out of Idris and Suli?
