My question was long term mate, will be holding this week for surePookus McFly wrote:
How could you sell him now after holding him through a missed game and a start off the bench? I think Cleary will be calling the shots by game day, so if he doesn't play 80 mins he is a definite sell, but surely you at least gotta give him the chance! That boy had bled for you this season!

Sticking for now. He could well be on the way to 80 mins again, looking at the Tigers bench. When he previously played 80, he was averaging 49 and points weren't as readily available then, plus he is attacking much more. Hold.

I don't think anybody can answer for the long term right now. But I suspect we will all have a concrete answer Sunday night.

Bodene same price and if he gets the 80 full time and ET sticks playing 60
easy swap in a week or two

I'm half, dad moved to the UK in the 80's as a player. So you'll probably class me as a Pom haha

If Ivan Cleary signs with the Tigers then look out for ET getting back to 2015 numbers. Cleary and ET are Darius Boyd and Wayne Bennett-lite.

One move sticks out to me, Moga out, SMat to centre and bring in Bodene.wolfking wrote:I got burned by Ponga last week so I don't think I want to risk getting fucked by Mr. Panthertrapface.
Thinking Moga or Talakai to Slater and just waiting to see what happens with Lamb. I don't really know what to do with my team, so many mid options but can't decide on a gun upgrade. Everyone still has opportunity to increase bar Moga unless he finally gets a try. Was keeping the coin for Macca/Innes but might not need to just yet;
Smith Brailey
Fifita Wallace Musgrove Yates
Surgess Hess SMat Kaufusi Siro Winterstein
Norman Lamb Jacks Elgey
Idris Kelly Talakai Moga
RTS Turbo Cotric Suli Ponga
284K in the bank. No idea where to start here.
If you're keen on Slater you could also trade out Talakai, switch Suli or Cotric to Centre and bring Slater in.

Thanks man. Was thinking some options like that but just scared of parting with the cash that I was keeping for Macca/Innes but I guess points is more important at this stage and as I said I think Brailey might be good for a few more weeks.

Thanks wolfking! Looking forward to doing some upgrades in the coming weeks if I have enough cash. Kafusi to JDB, Brailey to McInnes and Jacks to Cherry Evans or similar.
Won't be able to do all them right away.

What are we hoping Slater averages between now and Origin?
30? 40?

35 perhaps to go down the middle. I had my doubts but he looks really keen to run the ball and he's notching up a lot of tackle breaks which he doesn't usually do. 46 in a game where his side was starved of possession is pretty good.
He could settle down soon or for all we know he's going to retire this year but decided he wouldn't let injury beat him so he could go out with a bang. And I tell you it's always fun to me to have legends in your team. When I ran with JT in 2015 it was a sweet, sweet feeling. Helped he was like averaging 60 or so as a HLF.

I'm hoping for an average of 70
But will probably hover around 36-42
