I'm umming and ahhing about this a lot. If Brock Lamb misses a week, is he a sell? The guy's been a pretty solid scorer but even if he takes the field for that matter I can see the Sharks keeping him below his BE. Would it be a waste to sell him?

OK. I am convinced to only do one trade this week.

    CHN is a myth!

Pauly Vaughan is all I need and Matagi or Moeroa are getting the flick!

Who is to more likely to make their BE and make money before they get traded out next week.

Moeroa with a BE of 39 or
Matagi with a BE of 26.

Maybe Matagi sticks around as a NPR for another week?

If Lamb is ruled out I might cash out Elgey and upgrade to Cleary

Trading Siro to Whitehead (in hindsight) a week early, then having him suspended was a real kick in the nuts. Doesn't help with the fact I already felt like my team was in a bit of a stalemate, and judging from a few of the posts I'm not the only one. Falling into the revolving door CTR/WFB jam for yet another year lol who should I trade for Slater? Cotric? Suli? Moga? Talakai? Dear god

I said this a week or so ago (and paid the price last weekend)....but I just can't get behind Vaughan.

He may well have a year like Ryan James did last year and just keep racking up attacking stats - but I am thinking he is currently well overpriced

I'd call it an upgrade. Marginally. But I'm not sure it's a round 4 upgrade? Like...I think a team with both would be a more ideal scenario to work towards?

Agree with this, McGuire will have Origin so misses 2 extra games so may be a trade out closer for an upgrade of the JGraham ilk anyway

I know its maybe a silly question but would Slater easily be a keeper?

Just looked at Milchs price predictor and if he averages 40 will make roughly 100k i think

Better double-check that, because Leota is FR only and Corey is SR only. Panthers play 6th, so a lot of dual position players will be locked out.

If you have Felise Kaufusi, make sure he's in your SR slot if you plan on doing this. For me, McGuire and Yates will be locked out already.

JWallace is another that won't be locked.

Very good point mate. I do have Felice "Navidad" Kaufusi but not everyone will have dual position players to do this.

With trades being occupied with really bringing in Bodene, Whitehead etc over the next few weeks, I fear I am stuck with a poor choice for some time. Officially death riding Norman until then, all owners have been warned.
The only reason to sideways trade a keeper this early in the year is if their role has changed and they are no longer a keeper. With Green stealing kick metres that seems to be the case with DCE. Scores have been saved by big attacking plays that could dry up any time

Didn't you trade McGuire in round 2?

What are the reliable cash cows you you have at the back then?? Idris has to be a specie compared to them if he's starting the game?? What have you got to lose?
    Let's go Rennings. bounce
    Hang on, let's go STalakai.
I'm tossing up playing him over Kelly though.

None of them are super reliable but I'd sooner play Cotric or Kelly over Idris and I will be doing just that. I'd play Moga over him too tbh and Jennings.

Idris did not look like he belonged at all to me at the start of the season. Again I have him, I've held him, but I think those other guys are much more trustworthy to score more than him at the moment and will wait to actually play him until he proves otherwise.

    He won't.

What might effect Bodene is he isn't actually very good despite his fantasy numbers and the Warriors keep losing.

Yeah but he just went up 48k and 95k in total. If he averages over 50 his price was a bargain.
