    Of course traded him for Bodene this week.

    Seemed like he played heaps of minutes this week. I traded him out too...

    Unless i'm mistaken there is no rule as it currently stands that prohibits someone from standing within the 10m line before the kick. So you would change the current rule and introduce a new rule and in doing so, teams could no longer try and dribble a ball over the 10 and contest it, because all the attacking team would have to do is walk forward and touch it before it reached the 10. Why should the defending team be penalised in that scenario?

    The rule makes sense as it currently stands. If the ball doesn't go 10m its a penalty; if the attackers stopped it going 10 (by touching it) they are penalised, if not the defenders are penalised for not kicking it the required distance (which you can only 100% confirm if the ball has stopped completely). I didn't see it as i'm listening on the radio, but every commentator suggested it was the fault of Kahu for not knowing the rule.

    ....and that is exactly what happened, Kahu messed up

    Sounds like Frawley was crucial with his kicking game and all the comments were that the dogs should find a way to have him in the team next week. Sounds like I've got my downgrade option for some cash and its a former Raider!

    @Revraiser
    Ended up 17th overall mate. I think everyone in front of me had similar players to me lol haha
    I'm still happy with that ranking tho, only had the 3 players even tho one was my captain.

    I don't understand the Broncos tactics that game. On one wing you have a one legged roberts and kahu vs the morris brothers (2 of the better wide defenders in the game) on the other wing you have a new pairing in lee and montoya vs oates and moga who showed they can monster them in defense and frequently requiring second efforts to put them down......which side do they attack down consistently? As I said, doesn't make sense.

    Frawley looked like a one gamer but Dogs direly need a kicker. Mbye to the centre's or hooker might work so Frawley can keep a spot

    Yeah I put Frawley in this week too that was a nice surprise.

    Would be good if they kept Frawley and put Mbye back in the centres where he started

    Absolutely in this situation it's the fault of Kahu not knowing the rule, but it shouldn't be there in the first place.

    If a player dropkicks the ball correctly, there exists no scenario in which an attacking player would be able to touch the ball before it travels 10m. The only time players currently try to dribble the ball 10m is when the attacking team hasn't put a player front and center on the 10m line, trying to do a short dribble where there's an attacking player is an exercise in pointlessness even in the rules current state.

    currently the only way an attacking player is able to touch a ball that hasn't gone 10m is if the drop-kick has been shanked and the rules have been broken.

    i'd also just point out that in a game where the focal point is the what is done with the football, you don't find it silly that there a rule dictating that all 26 players on the field should actively avoid the football like it's got the black plague until a referee decides to blow his whistle?
