Awesome rank Fraser. Well done. Imagine if you had of played Cotric. This will haunt your dreams tonight.

Thanks mate. It only hurts because I was tossing up between the 2 for a few days.

    Thanks SI,
If James didn't dick me in the bum, then this may have mattered - but after another rubbish fantasy performance, he is on the block this week. He's now reached that point where you question whether you cut away the 100K he's lost and switch to one on the rise, or figure that he can't go too much lower so just ride it out and hope the titans can get a roll on.

No thank you! We are all tired of playing fullback/centre roulette. I rather save up some trades instead!!

Yeah that's me. Haven't had much of a chance to get on to the forums and post as life has been pretty hectic lately. Just had our first bub and now Lismore has been hit with the worst floods we've had for years so fantasy footy has been on the back burner which seems to be working ok. Maybe I have been over thinking it all these years

    Hey Fraser,

That was a reasonably close week between us in lowly L7. Idris nearly made up the ground left after James fail and SJs big one, in the end it was too much to ask Idris to make up another 20 pts.

So many if only's - Yates could have played, which meant I would have kept my Smat trade in place, which would have left Cotric in my 17.

Well done - I doubt I'm making up the 20 in updates.

I had lunch today with my brother & he told me Harawira-Naera is the grandson of a good mate of ours. His name is Billy Naera but I never made the connection. Small world.

Ooh. You need to get the inside word then to figure out his security!

    Looks the goods though.

A good start would be to award points based on what actually happens out there. K.Pritchard palmed one guy off and carried another over the line for his try - yet 0 TB's.  If that was Brailey then I guarantee he gets 2 TB's.  That's the problem with going genuine POD's, you can guarantee they don't get the love of that the high % guys get!

You are spot on here mate. There is no doubt in my mind that certain players get favouritism with the scorers in how things are judged. There is no consistency. This is just my opinion, I have no proof whatsoever except observation, but I suspect someone will expose something one day. It is pretty obvious to me that the secret to this game is to lock in the scorers' favourites, providing they look like keepers. If you have them now, well then all good. By the time you bring them in otherwise, they'll be already cashed. Some examples...again just from my observation. I watch every game, every week. If I'm busy or out I record them and watch later. Cotric, JDB, Johnson, James last year, Norman, McInness, McCullough, McGuire....there is the opposite effect too, where players like Pritchard, get judged more harshly and not given points they deserve. I own a few of these and imo the scoring is suss this year, and has been imo since failhub took over. I'm in SuperCoach and VSTD as well and don't have the same feeling. Anyone else think this?

    Hey mate,
Yeah it's always fun when it comes down to the last couple of games, even when it is in lowly L7!

So I never got to do anything with my team this week due to the cyclone and no power and internet. I never got to change my reserves and got stuck with Yates. Do I get the lowest score instead or am I stuck with a 0

You will get the lowest score from your 18-25 as an auto emergency.

Thanks mate, yeah I'm lucky that my place is well above the flood level but unfortunately the small business I work for was right in the thick of it. We had 3.25m of water in our shop and could only get in to start the clean up today. Gonna be a long week haha but at least everyone is safe!

Pending updates, 868 for the round, pushing me up to rank 394 overall. Feels like this week I was rewarded for patience, with a couple of popular trade ins over the last couple of weeks either not playing or disappointing (Hess, Ponga, etc). Meanwhile, Siro, Idris, Graham, RTS and Fifi all got me good points despite a few weak opening rounds. A couple of those you would have been crazy to trade out, but a few of them many did.

I think the a.e. lowest score rule is very unfair. Surely it wouldn't be hard for the game to design some system where you could rank your npr's from 1 to 8 so you get the score of your top ranked npr. They do it in the epl so why not in fantasy.

There was someone thinking of trading Graham out who I told them not to on account of never sell keepers. Luckily they listened. Don't have him yet but good option for byes.

I did sell Siro last week. Honestly I just wanted to get Whitehead in a week early and ride off a still low ownership for a POD score. Instead Siro outscored him by 18-19 points and went up in value while Whitehead went down again.
Should have kept the faith but oh well hindsight is a beautiful thing.
