I think i will hold off on podene, whitehead, cook, chriton, brown, walker and leilua. I would like to eventually get them but getting rid of elgey to hampton is a priority for me, or frawley.

But I'm iffy on gutho, man i just got him three weeks ago sad face

    http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/robbie-farah-breaks-silence-on-sacking-of-jason-taylor-mess-at-wests-tigers-talks-origin-prospects/news-story/ef291411c6db455da76963d400530740

Robbie uses "Training the house down" twice in one article for both Cam Murray and Damo Cook.
Reading between the lines he's still pretty bitter about the whole Tigers thing and sounds bitter that he's not starting for Souths.

Tigers will do a lot better without Farah's toxicity and unforuntately... could it be starting to effect Souths?

So now Milchy & Chewie have me doubting Gutherson in my team. My current back 5 are:
    Gutherson, RTS, Ponga, Abbey, Jennings

I can afford any wfb except Rapana so do I get the high priced options like Nofo, Tedesco, C. Walker or T-Trbo or do I go Slater for the cash of 129k so I can upgrade other positions.

    Thanks.

I traded Cartwright for him 2 weeks ago. He's averaging 22.5 ppg for me so yeh... #feelsbadman

Walker mate, i may do it but i think I'll do the elgey to hampton and gutho to frawley. If frawleys isnt on the bench its an easy decision.

Kne of you blokes threw a new name out for thurstons replacement, any chance a fit coote goes to the halves and ponga covers fb?

I can trade out Guth for Frawley
    and upgrade Stimson to Crichton

Using Frawley as a "cash-out" but hoping he will get more game time this season... heck, he deserves it...
Stimson was giving me bad AE scores... and Crichton is good for the bye period...

    Smith  Brailey
    McGuire  F.Kaufusi  Musgrove  Papalii
Gallen  DeBelin  Mannering  Surgess  CHN  Yates
    Norman  Lamb  Jacks  Frawley
    S.Matautia  Idris  Suli  Moga
    RTS  Slater  B.Lee  Cotric  Abbey

Looking at Lamb to Hampton and Musgrove to Graham

Not convinced by Lamb at all so happy to take the cash to get Graham in, should be set and forget especially through origin.

Looking at everyone's teams it seems a lot of us are in the same boat with the 1 gun half so I don't see an issue with dropping Lamb out and riding one of the cashies until I can upgrade.

Any issues with this master plan??

I like the plan... I was looking at somehow getting SJ in for origin, but I might settle for MitchEEL Moses if he joins Parra

I'm going to say go Slater just because he's so undervalued. I reckon you could do more with the extra cash and bank the 40 point average.

I'd love to get SJ in for origin but due to his price I think I'll just settle with my main man Norman for now. There's still time for SJ's price to drop before round 12 though, fingers crossed for those of us that don't already have him.

Can't say I'm getting too excited about Moses though, surely got to be a wait and see thing?

All this Gutherson talk will be irrelevant if he's named in the halves at least for the meantime.

I'm pretty sure the Guth at FB furore started last year when Gordon went down with injury and Guth was shifted back there and smashed out a huge 80-90+ with some tackle breaking runs and tries.

Gordon may have played out the game on the wing or something. I remember playing Gordon for a trash score and leaving Guth's monster on the pine, staring at me all weekend.

Finch wrote:Are people bringing in Crichton on the fact he is/might be a 80 minute player now? Or for the fact he scored so good? Those are two different questions you need to ask yourself. Don't let his good score cloud your judgement. If he scored 50, played 80, I don't think as many people would be looking at bringing him in, which leads me to believe people are bringing him in because he scored good, and some people think they are going to be magically getting 70's every week now.

    Just my 2c...
His monster score shows his massive ceiling, scoring 50 shows he can be a keeper, of course people would still be bringing him in, if he consistently gets 80 minutes he will be an absolute steal. Sure he misses tackles, but his fantasy output reminds me a lot of Carty at start of season last year and similar price now that Catty started off as. Expect some big error MT counts but offset by huge attacking play prowess
