If Crichton continues to get 80mins you'd have to think he'll average 50ish based on a PPM of 0.6 (averaged 0.75 PPM in 2016/2017 in shorter stints)

Based on this and the fact that he plays rounds 12 and 18 (two toughest bye rounds for me) I think I'm going to go Sironen > Crichton

Here's hoping he continues to get 80!

I reckon he is a great option.
Green said he was only put at halfback because he fits in with the way they want to play as he has a good kicking game. He said Leary was tidy in defence and gave them some attacking options. I don't know whether that justifies him keeping Leary at hooker when the others return.

have enough to go Hess (through Yates) -> Fifita/Graham, Yates -> Chrichton, but in his last non HIA-affected game named on the edge Hess busted out 80 points in 80 minutes...

other option is to go Frankenstein -> Chrichton, which would allow me to turf Kelly before he goes backwards, any basement price backs likely to play origin rounds?

I don't know, is it injury? Internal issues? performance? I was hoping somebody here could provide clarity.

It's annoying because I can't really trade him out. Nobody in his price range worth getting and no decent rookies or cows.

WT Winfield wrote:Yeah I've dropped Jacks from the 17 for now.. Munster's slated for a Rd 8 return, so hopefully it's just Bellamy mindgames.. He named Munster a few times last year and ended up missing 3-4 weeks instead of 1.

I'm still tossing up where to burn my 2nd trade, 26 left currently after upgrading Yates to Whitehead with 7k to spare.

Looking at this sack of potatoes atm:

    (C)am, Brailey
    McGuire, James, FKaufusi
    Manners, JDB, Whitehead, Merrin, Sironen
    Lamb, Hampton
    SMat, Idris
    RTS, Slater, Cotric

NPR: Leota, Frankenstein, Jacks, Maloney, Kelly, Suli, Uate, Abbey.

Bummed that I can't fit Uate in somewhere, but he almost cost me 44 points last start, so he can sit in the corner and think about what he's done this week.

If Frawley makes a starting appearance, then I'll be torn on having to dump Jacks or Maloney for him. Maloney's so dirt cheap now at like 250k, I think I've gotta hold him until he recoups those losses somewhat. Jacks days look to be numbered barring injury.

Taking a shot on Hampton in the 17 this week. If Dragon's forwards dominate, then I'm hoping for a lot of KMs. Likely won't get the tackle counts of last week, but at least showed he isn't the worst defender. If Cowboys pull off the upset when down on troops, hopefully Hampton's able to cash in, but will probably be Morgan stepping up and leading the way. Either way, it's better than Maloney and probably Jacks.

If there's no Frawley, then I might kill off Kelly's spot with a DPP CTR/WFB.

Only 3 options: Jordan Drew, Justin Olam & Jamayne Isaako. Strike off Isaako since he's a Bronc and locks out early most weeks. Kind of a toss up between the other two.

Rush of blood maybe, but I desperately need one of Cleary or SJ in the halves to give some stability and Kelly's gotta go.

Great team bud, hopefully Hampton goes well for you. I'm banking on it too

He had a back injury last week.

Hope so! Lowe on the bench is probably more of a concern for Hess than anyone else but you can't ignore the attacking strength Hess has and the impact he's had in the Cowboys.

Lowe being a big-minute player is a worry though.

JT could move into the FRF rotation?

    It's either

    10. JT
    11. Hess
    12. Gooper
    13. Lowe

    or more likely

    11. Gooper
    12. Lowe
    13. JT

    14. Hess

Yeah true, I think I remember reading somewhere that Lowe could help cover a few positions as a ultility if Leary couldn't go the whole 80.

Yeah he pulled out late I think, I don't know if there was a definite date of how long he'd be out for.

If Leary gets 50-60mins or more, he will kill it.

Crichton getting the 80 last week I think is a good sign as they had no players go down. I think he'll stick to what worked last week.

Tossing up to go one trade and go Musgrove to Crichton, or use two and go Elgey to Hampton and Yates to Cricthon.

Thanks mate. I may burn a trade and get him in for Elgey. He should hit Elgeys price pretty easily anyway. Just concerned that JT won't be out that long. But you have him and are killing it so might as well jump on the bandwagon. cheer Amazing team by the way mate, astonishing really.

Hampton will get a few more games with Granville and JT out and now only has a be of -3.

OK thanks, seems like some pros and cons associated with both Hampton and Ponga. Will make a call later in the week!

    Barnett to Crichton
    Gutherson to CWalker
    (both good for origin)

    VS

    Gutherson to Frawley
Stimson to Crichton (gets rid of the Stimson AE)

maybe capewell for bird during origin. but hes still a 2rf.

my guess at origin backs with the blues: ted, hayne, hopo, dugan, tturbo?
no good bye teams here apart from hopo, unless they persist with jennings and fergo.

maroons ive got: boyd/slater,oates,boyd/slater,gagai, and chambers for inglis.
hoping that the storm open up a slot for an extra back. but they have munster who can fill anywhere.

so in my opinion, we need more injuries to happen otherwise we will have to pay more for solid options, like cwalker aubs gutho etc..

welcome to more theories on origin teams if it helps decide on early cashout outs. particularly in the ctrs as a lot of us still have talakai with about 100k sitting there

Honestly, with $600K in the bank, I was expecting some kind of shit team lol.

Its not really that bad, definitley need a gun FRF, Graham is a great choice.

Look to sart downgrading Yates, Elgey and the other cash cows. Probably wont need BJ at this point in time. If Idris keeps scoring how he did in the weekend it will be cheaper to do Idris - BJ in the long run, guess you might miss out on a big BJ score though.

As others have mentioned Jacks is probably a trade out next week, if not this week really. Team will look much better with Graham + a gun HLF in there with SJ.

Anyone else following the SBW fiasco over taping over one of his sponsors?
Cannot believe how judgemental some people are in their comments.

This time last year when everyone was getting behind the NZ Rugby and league players protesting the TPPA, SBW was overseas in Syria volunteering his time to help people in the war-torn country.

Fuck it pisses me off how white-bread some people really are.

    1. Billy Slater , 2. Corey Oates, 3. Dane Gagai 4. Justin O’Neill, 5. Darius Boyd , 6. Johnathan Thurston, 7. Cooper Cronk, 8. Dylan Napa, 9. Cameron Smith, 10. Nate Myles, 11. Matt Gillett, 12. Josh Papalli 13. Josh McGuire, 14. Sam Thaiday, 15. C Hess/ Michael Morgan , 16. Aidan Guerra, 17. Jacob Lillyman
