Not having DPP on surgess and gallen this year has made it alot harder. We have alot of people bringing in podene and whitehead yet looking at the best 2ndrowers that means you will be forced to miss out on 2 of the likes of gallen surgess mannering JDB YOLO and maybe papalli unless you are are willing to burn alot of trades in upgrading podene and whitehead at a later stage.

In 2015 Hampton played 3 games at halfback replacing Cronk
Scored 42 (incl 1 try), 22 and 56
Massive increase in tackles and kick metres the 3rd game.
No idea why
He partnered Blake Green in all 3 games

If I bring Whitehead in, it will be as a stepping stone rather than a planned member of my final 17.
Bodene (who I already have) might not stay the distance either, depending on how he goes with his injury.

Should I be trading Gutho out? I really really want to keep him but the way he played last couple of weeks at FB doesn't scream keeper.
24 trades left, 274k ITB
Smith (C), Brailey
McGuire, Graham, FKaufusi (R), Matagi
Whitehead, JDB, Surgess, CHN (R), Crichton (R), Stone
Norman, Frawley, Hampton (R), Elgey
Cotric, Suli, Kelly, Talakai
Ponga, RTS, Slats, Abbey, Uate
Really neglecting my centres and look to fix them up in the coming weeks.
Change your plans mate

Frawley was my no. 1 trade this week so with him not starting how do you like do you like these 2 trades.
McGuire out - Leary in (starting hooker & should get 60 mins)
Cook out - McCullough in
Cheers.

You've now got my interest with Leary - are you sure there is no Cowboys player that will be interchanging with him during the game?

They have no utility on the bench but Asiata could come on & play in the halves with Hampton spelling Leary. Or Leary could just play 80 minutes but unlikely imo.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 30
After looking at the TLT, in my opinion:
Yates - hold for now
Jacks - hold until next week
CHN - definitely hold for now (he might end up playing the same amount of minutes as before just not starting)
Hampton - could either go 20 or 70+ depending on his involvement. Happy to know that he will be playing 80 minutes.
Hess - happy to know that he's starting and will probably end up playing 55+ minutes again and scoring at least another try.
Ponga - let the money keep flowing in
Brailey - hold as Capewell will probably play 20 minutes max off the bench. Hopefully Brailey's scoring will remain 30+

One thing you have to consider is would you bring Leary in as a cash out option? He might only be playing hooker for 2-3 games while JT is out.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 30
Some really ominous signs in this weeks team list for a lot of us:
Corey Hawagidhehru Neugufhdaeiou- quite surprisingly relegated to bench. Only surprising as thought/hoping they might ease JFH back in, via bench. Wishful thinking he'd go back to middle forward. Cartwright also in the 21. Bench time for CHN
C.Munster on the reserves list - this is concerning as I didn't want to drop Jacks until after byes and origin. If you can carry him as 3rd or 4th non bench half than great. If not and he starts for you, now a huge risk
Kodi HB, Hampton HB, Gutherson FB - Trap trap traparoo
Frawley and Yates don't look to be insta picks in the 17, let alone 13 the latter is a sell
Hess named to start (good) but Ethan Lowe a natural in his position on the bench. Lowe may now be needed through the middle for cows?
On the positives...
Hookers!
Great to see Peats back and the benches would suggest 80mins for all of Smith, Macca, McInnes and Brailey so really only Cook owners who can be in anyway concerned with teamsheets

Bulldogs playing first up, so we'll see if Frawley makes the 17...

You know what I'm getting in Ponga. I may be paying more than what I should but it's only a small upgrade from Suli or Kelly who both need to go.
Thus far I'm going
Kelly - Ponga
Elgey - Hampton

If Taukeiaho comes back in - who drops out for the Roosters? (Hoping Connor Watson - i really need an 80min Jake Friend to justify my ill advised trade out of Brailey last week).
