Did anyone see the post on renegades or rogues or whatever on facebook about Asiata in the halves, Hampton shifting to hooker, Leary to the bench or dropping out? Apparently it was a "friend" of Michael Morgan saying it.

Often these go without response due to lengthy explanations needed.
For those web gurus out there, Is there a way we can replicate the thumbs up/down vote on each post for an a) or b) vote and not link it to the reputation? Of course people asking would have to offer two solutions to get advice on, but this could also reinforce the "go with your gut" theory.
This could offer people heaps more feedback on proposed solutions without the need for detailed replies. The more experienced and educated could continue to post detailed responses, but allow for short, snappy surveying of collective thoughts.
Anyways, just a thought and not sure if its viable technologically.
I'll close this by reinforcing the initial point - awesome site, good people, good conversation. For a newbie at this fantasy stuff (second year syndrome) - its a wealth of info.
Agree with this. Sometimes when I ask questions I say "Thumbs up for Option 1" and "Thumbs down for option 2"
Then nobody needs to put in a response, if there is 1 thumbs up and 3 thumbs down, I know option 2 was the best bit of advice.

You mean for the final 17 or during the game? I don't think Leary will play 80 and so that means somebody will spell him. One theory is Asiata comes on into the halves (played there in juniors and has a slick passing game) and Hampton into dummy half. But I'm sure there are plenty of options.

problem with Asiata in the halves is the lack of kicking game with Morgan being shit at it already, they need Hampton there without JTluckynumber8 wrote:Did anyone see the post on renegades or rogues or whatever on facebook about Asiata in the halves, Hampton shifting to hooker, Leary to the bench or dropping out? How will people be attacking the bye rounds?
I'm thinking get some rabbits and eels players
Otherwise just trade in guys who become undervalued before their bye round OR are absolute must haves.
Some names I've got on my watch list
Gallen graham walker guth munster MAYBE cook and gurgess
Already have
Norman surgess Crichton

Perfectly timed question, just finished reading from cows forum:
Cowboys Q Cup stats for Round 6, a big weekend for the forwards:
Sam Hoare (50 mins, 16 runs, 149m, 62 post contact, 1 offload, 33 tackles, 1 missed)
Corey Jensen (55 mins, 22 runs, 221m, 88 post contact, 2 tackle breaks, 31 tackles, 1 missed)
Marcus Jensen (80 mins, 8 runs, 54m, 16 post contact, 1 tackle break, 1 tackle, 0 missed)
Patrick Mago (80 mins, 1 try, 15 runs, 140m, 56 post contact, 1 line break, 8 tackle breaks, 30 tackles, 4 missed)
Braden Uele (56 mins, 1 try, 13 runs, 152m, 56 post contact, 1 line break, 7 tackle breaks, 18 tackles, 0 missed)
All forwards cracked 100+ metres, with Corey Jensen putting up 221. Also, Braden Uele now has 5 tries for the year.
Don't know if it helps, but there you are

Get this right? I am going to trade out Cameron Smith. Well only if Farah plays Origin that is in which I'll trade Smith for Cook. Anyone else that only plays 2 bye rounds probably ain't worth it.
I'm swapping Lamb for either Aeynolds or Walker this week. Former might play Origin but hey if he doesn't then that's a heck of a POD. Depending on how JWal goes moving forward I might eye James Graham as an upgrade. Maybe ET to Surgess as well for them bye round points.
Won't plan too much but starting to plan trades with Origin in mind.

I also had a rough plan to trade out Smith for Cook. Except I traded him in last week for Brailey. So now will either just keep Smith, or if feeling adventurous, go Smith to McIness (or insert gun hooker) and then Cook to Smith.

I've tried these combos this week:
a. Lamb and French out; CWalker and Burns in
b. French and Yates out; Burns and Whitehead in
c. Lamb and Yates out; Frawley and Whitehead in
d. French and Yates out; Burns and Crichton in
I've landed on d at the moment due to leaving $115K ITB, converting Yates into a someone I can start and the Bye planning.
Sound good? Focus for trades should be points, and using Lamb, Yates, French or Kelly.

Jensen is a beast. The boys had some stats guru talking them through their accrued playing data- tackles per minute and post contact metres and stuff probably not dissimilar than that which fantasy players are interested in. Corey's stats (though Q Cup admittedly) were second only to Taumololo through the whole group. His biggest issue will be keeping his spot, but he is just the guy to play himself into it. His nickname in the team is "The Terminator." That alone should sell him.
