He has shown some promise of busting out a big game.  He is in my Centres so I'm happy (but certainly not elated) for his mid 30's.  I don't trust BJ quite yet.  Can you fuck Kelly off or the like for him instead or don't want to spend the extra coin?

Kelly to BJ takes a lot of money. 140k is a big upgrade for a centre, and it would give me Latrell, BJ, Smat and Idris. WHO THE FUCK WOULD I PLAY???!!!! Rolling Laugh

If you play Kelly he will score 14, if you don't he will score 40.

I am inclined to hold him for now also, at least his floor is fairly high when he stays fit. I have a weird rotation of Smat, Latrell and Idris all equally pushing for the two centre spots available (which I hate, due to inevitably always choosing wrong), when the one player I would play for sure is BJ, whom i don't have. Maybe i just bite the bullet and sell Latrell for BJ. Only costs 30k and a broken heart.
If I had Latrell I'd be trading him to BJ without a second thought.
I have SMat, Walker and Idris, and I'm still waiting to see how they all pan out.

From what Arey said in the post interview, it sounds like Turner's move to the front row is a long term thing. I think it will suit him in the long run.

I think Walker will come good. Posted some promising scores already without too terrible a floor (unlike Latrell's 7).

Crichton is much more dangerous on the edge, and it seems everyone is liking Turner in the front row. Really, he offered nothing in the backrow. I find it more encouraging that Crichton played 80 with no injuries or any of the forward going off for the game. If one of the forwards went down, everyone would be questioning if he would have gotten 80 becuase of it. Now he gets an unaffected 80 minutes and everyone still questions it. I'm 95% sold on jumping on him. Always rated him, just needed the opportunity he's now getting.

I don't know if I should use one trade and go Musgrove to Crichton, or use two trades and go Elgey to Hampton and then Yates to Crichton and keep Musgrove for the time being. Hmm...

My Kelly - Crichton trade was one of the easiest all season. Even if Crichton doesn't stay playing 80 minutes he's far less stressful than Mr Kelly

I also have Tommy Turbo and Cotric at WFB I can interchange.
Perhaps I should have spent more time and money on my forwards.

Do it in one trade. Otherwise you need Crichton to earn twice as much for it to be worthwhile. I am cold on Hampton since named in halves.

That's what I was leaning towards mate, thanks. Musgrove to Crichton really isn't losing anything except a small amount of coin but could have amazing upside. I really like Musgrove but way more potential in Crichton obviously. I'm pretty cold on Hampton too. Think it's a trap and he'll be back on the bench in a week or two.

JT will be back before we know it. Green obviously liked Leary at hooker more than Hampton, so once JT is back Hampton probably goes back to the bench. And knowing JT, he'll probably only miss one game.

Smat talk: If Smat didn't get the double HIA the other week (which automatically sidelines you for the rest of the game)... And if he did get the try last weekend, his scores would look more promising. He's not a fantasy dud or a trap. No rush to trade him out unless you need the money to upgrade to a better option like Crichton. I've got Smat in the CTR and will probably trade him out once Idris has earned my confidence. Meanwhile I hope he'll have some good games

I was keen when he was playing in the middle. Even if he had 50 mins a week making tackles he would earn good cash. But there is no guarantee he will perform in the halves which can be a much tricker position to score well in. What if he scores in 20 for 3 weeks? Terrible job security outside his normal bench role, and he is not a good player for byes, will become a terrible ae if he doesn't make the cash and I have already taken enough failed chances on failed cows like Abbey. I need a sure thing.

Green has put Hampton at half because JT is injured and its his natural position, Leary isn't a half so isn't playing there and Coote who would of slipped into the position is injured

seems fairly simple to me, if Green like Leary more than Hampton at hooker then why didn't he start him there last week?
