I'll wait to see how the Panthers 1-17 go, but I'm leaning towards Idris.

    Idris vs Eels backline
    or
CHN (potentially off the bench) against the Sharks backline.

    Which way to go?

If CHN is on the bench I'll probably go Idris. He did fuckall last week for that 46.

Speaking of McInnes fears, it is probably important to point out that he scored 33 points in his second half...

Go Idris, fanhub favourite and why I play him as one of my reserves every week.
    Love me some invisible points.

I told you what the difference was, this game has changed.

Sportsdeck has the same stats that Fantasy has. So if its Tackle Breaks (or stats collection in general) that are the difference it is the same across both comps

Well done! Nice score, could get into the 1000s
I think I'm only gonna make 900ish this round, I would go Idris over CHN.

That's about what he should score each half, the first he was shovelling the ball on so didn't do anything due to the roll on the Dragons had. Nothing to worry about

DeBelin off the field and the cowboys scored a heap of points and almost won, hope that's a wake up call

So basically the difference is there is about 3000 better players who do fantasy but not Dream Team then?

Isn't the price rise system based on 3 games where here it's each week?
Bringing in a player based on last weeks score is far better here as opposed to being more calculated and waiting in dream team.
So it rewards impulsive casuals who bring in the flavour of the month each week until they run out of trades and give up. Just need to catch up later and hope some of these players fail

People like yourself who rely on stats, research and the wait and see approach will fall behind while a Hess or CHN play 2 games with huge junk points then price themselves out of the market.

If you played the old way and relied on the above, this train would have already left you

Yes, you get 2 freebie weeks in sportsdeck before price rises.

The salary cap was also a little less tight in this comp allowing for a slightly more stacked starting team.

But everyone gets to benefit from the same rules, so its not like 1 get an advantage for having to wait 2 weeks.

There are a lot less people playing the comp, but those that do play are normally fairly competent, there aren't heaps of casuals that give up after a couple weeks like Supercoach/Fantasy get. A crapload of fantasy players wouldn't even be aware this comp existed. So it is pretty competitive as most players are fairly serious.

Fantasy I have just made a handful of bad trades/decisions that have had a flow on effect. Eg wasn't comfortable bring in Crichton in Fantasy this week as it would have left me with Lamb and KNiko starting halves. In hindsight I should have done the move anyway but that set back will cost me a lot. Choosing Abbey over Ponga was also a very poor move, although I am far from being alone in making that one.

After those updates = 825/15 with Fifita & Idris to play. Should crack 900.
