I'm weary of Niko scoring well, think it was around 50m in kicking, 25 tackles with no misses, a try, a linebreak and 5 tackle breaks for his score of 66. The game was against an injury depleted Titans that they only just won against.
How much money will he make if he scores 25 points which is a real possibility?

I'd be weary of any Bulldogs cheapies with Tolman/Graham eating up the minutes. So no to Tualau for me. Perret is injured again I think and is not in Manly's strongest 17. Fai may get 1 game but might only get 15 minutes so is a waste.
Milford is so inconsistent but could be worth a stab.

Having a look into it you don't really have much choice other than the trades you are looking at. Just that Yates is going to start bleeding cash now with a BE of 30 and you don't have any DPP in your 2RFs. If Frawley is named to start it will solve your dilemma.

Rushing to go Brailey to Mcinnes has completely screwed my team. Salt in the wound with the Seggy injury the round after.

Have no war chest, limited trades and a weak bench. Will be going Jacks to Nuff and Yates to Whitehead.

    Will leave me with

    Smith, McInnes
    McGuire, Vaughan, Wallace, Kaufsi
Gallen, JDB, Whitehead, CHN, Stone, nuff
    Cwalker, Cronk, Hampton, Field
    Cotric, Kelly, Idris, Moga
    Nofo, RTS, Ponga, Abbey, Phythian

Hopefully Ponga and CHN play. Im not confident though

Is Crichton actually looking like a look term keeper at this point, or is his lifespan limited?

Hard to say at this point. Depends largely on Madge, but also remember Crichton's only 21, and often the output from young blokes will drop off after a few weeks or months as week in week out NRL takes its toll.

With that in mind at this stage I think he can keep pumping out some good scores. He's very keen for work as his tackle counts in the last two weeks show. Bit of a Matt Gillett style player in terms of fantasy output.

The hell. I made the Crichton/Gillett comparison 2 weeks ago.

Brailey owners have been offered a game-changer. That extra 4th reserve producing gun-like scores when so many others are running Cotric and ilk in desperation. It is a genuine get-out-of-jail free card for many teams I have seen floating around

Depends, Madge has shifted his team around a lot. Talakai dropped after one round, Cook is on the bench then starting, Turner to prop.
For now Crichton looks the goods and at the very least should make a lot of cash.

I've been running Cotric for a few weeks and he's actually been pretty decent lately. He scored 36 in a game where he barely took a run in the 2nd half.
If Rapana didn't go for so many dummy half runs Cotric would score even better.

I wouldn't be double trading just to bring in Milf, without the intercept play ultimately resulting in a try, he scores mid-30's this week. On the other hand, he will obviously see more of the football over the next month, still not sure he's worth the $388k price tag though.

Niko probably has similar scoring potential and is $150k cheaper, although a more limited lifespan, but the Niko strategy is also a double trade strategy, as you'll still end up using another trade to get him out again when Hunt returns.

FWIW, I traded in and played both last week for Guth and Lamb. You've gotta have some luck in this game!

absolutely. has certainly helped me out, gotta take some luck when you can. doubt he will put up gun-like scores but if he can keeping scoring 40ish i'll be happy. He does look like getting more involved as the weeks go on so hopefully he'll keep picking up extra attacking points.

If you can scrape 17 for Rd13 then that is perfect bye planning because you will have more than others on the big byes.

My ideal bye planning is exactly that-not having anymore than 17 in the 3 smaller bye rounds, which should in turn increase your numbers in the 3 big bye roubds. I understand that is near impossible, but it's what I aim for every year personally.

Selling Brailey has completely screwed me. My team would be roughly the same point wise, at least two trades better off and 300k in the bank.
