My problem is money lost. Have been looking at Capewell and Stone as cash outs for him. Both are obviously risky but the 80-100k could be helpful.Archer wrote:
I've got Jake the Musgrove and whilst I'm tempted to trade him I'm actually wondering if my desire to trade him is founded on real potential to drop in value or just frustration at something that was looking like a good move no longer working out. I mean i'd like to know jut how much $ he drops if say he scores 20's for the next 3 weeks, if its say 40K or less, that might be something I can live with for the chance that something changes again and he gets some more minutes or a better trade out comes along.

Should i trade in Smat for Kelly next week? Would allow me to move Aubusson back to the 2RF and have Smat with BJ in the centres. Would still leave me roughly 400k in the bank. Sound like a good plan?

Got a wee benching headache this week. One of Brailley, Klemmer or Sironen has to sit out. The obvious one is Siro, but I'm tempted to play him so I can cover any late withdrawals.
Thoughts?

I traded Yates for Capewell last week, so I don't think that's a bad option. But what do you mean money lost? As in you think he's going to drop a lot of value if he keeps getting low minutes? Because at only 284k I don't think he does drop too rapidly (i haven't yet crunched the numbers since I'm at work). I mean over the season, sure he would bottom out to nothing with those kind of minutes, but over a 3-4 week period, not so sure.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:

Don't panic trade guys like that, you still have another 12 or so rounds to generate cash for your final team. You have done well to save trades thus far, don't waste them, use them to sideways trade during byes

I guess with musgrove he is only one shit game from a burgess twin away from going back to decent minutes.
Turner into prop does put him back in the pecking order though. And madges love for clark

So much for being the Alpha prop huh lol. I may hold him and hope he doesn't drop too much.my tv broke wrote:I guess with musgrove he is only one shit game from a burgess twin away from going back to decent minutes.

Only other trade is Jacks/Elgey to Niko, but I already have the Milf so could be overkill?

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 33
I honestly think this is a 'go with your gut' decision and there isn't a logical choice. I'd say all of the guys have been a inconsistent in scoring and any could have a big or small week. Take Brailey for example, he got more minutes last week and scored over 50, but if you compare the stats to the previous week most of the increase in points came from a TA, LB and LBA, things he hasn't got points for in any other game this year. He got 71 minutes in Rd 2 and 80 in Rd 3 and averaged 40 over those rounds, thanks largely to scoring a try in Rd2. I'm not saying he can't go well again this week, but its far from a sure thing.Dananz wrote:Got a wee benching headache this week. One of Brailley, Klemmer or Sironen has to sit out. Isn't Klemmer out again this week injured. So that makes your decision easier.

Rd1. EXCELLENT MOVES CORRECTING PRE SEASON MISSES
Jbrom to Wallace
Ma'U to JDB
Rd2 JUST UNLUCKY WITH ABBEY MCGUIRE LIKE WALLACE GOOD EARLY ADOPTION
Hayne to Abbey
ET to McGuire
Rd3 CRAFTY. I LIKE
Siro to Ponga
Rd4 SMAT WAS PREMATURE BUT GET IT. LAMB MOVE EXCELLENT
Smat to CHN
Lamb to Cwalker
Rd5 UNLUCKY. CANT HAVE PREDICTED SEGGY. KB PERFECTLY APPROPRIATE FODDER
Kbrom to TMay
Brailey to Mcinnes
Rd6 DONT LIKE EITHER MOVE BUT HAVE TO JUST SET AND FORGET NOFI NOW. GUN
Elgy to Hampton
Guth to Nofo
Rd7 SHAME RE FIELD WITH KODI RUNNING INTO GOOD FIXTURES BUT YATES TO WHITEHEAD WORTH MOST CASH OUT PLAYS
Jacks to Field
Yates to Whitehead
Cant say im entirely unhappy with them. Just seems like poor planning from the start and players not performing as expected immediately after purchase (im looking at you Mcinnes).
Sitting at 4000 odd at the moment.
Should be happy enough with the moves mate. My thoughts within

Rabbit wrote:OK, Rippin and Tearin. Re Hess.
By my reckoning, to be a 2RF keeper a player needs to be in the Top 10 scorers in that position or you could look at the Top 25 scorers in any position. Currently, that player has an average less than 50 on both counts. So Hess, to remain a keeper would need an average of around 50. That is the reality.
I'm willing to have an avatar bet over the next 3 weeks that he averages 50+. If he does that, I have no doubt he is keeper status for the year, barring injury.
The avatar of your choice is for a week. I am prepared to have the same bet with any other poster regarding Crichton also.
Are we on?
BTW, don't stop your opinions. It creates discussion and that is good.
Holy shit @Rabbit, did you post something nice??? Have you got a fever???

This deadline was given to the Issac Moses on Tuesday - but the Tigers only went public with it today, so '24 hours' is a bit misleading.
Given all reports are that Woods and Teddy have already signed elsewhere its more of a PR exercise than a genuine deadline.
If they haven't yet signed with the Dogs/Roosters I guess it means their asking price drops a little as the Tigers offer drops off the table.
Times like these you prove you aren't just another brainless bovine Milchy! Or maybe you have as many brains as cows have stomachs?!? That would explain one or two things! This is exactly the way I see it. Tigers are doing a few things here, they're putting a new coach in front of the cameras for 5mins to show that he's savvy and handles the media well and to reassure fans that the Tiges have a plan in place. That's the two obvious things.
On the darkside with Darth, they're subtly telling both Teddy and Woods that in 24hrs if you don't commit to us and your negotiations with other clubs fall through, the contract we offer will be substantially less than the current one on the table.
TBH, I think it's both fair and smart.

Does this mean Sutton will play in the halves.
As a Cook owner I hope Farah to h/b & Cook 80 minutes.

Didn't even think about that. Yeah heres hoping Farah goes to halfback.
More likely Clark will start and Sutton to halves and Turner to second row though
