    I think Spina @ 148k can cement a spot in the 17.

KNik seems a worthwhile gamble for those of us with half issues.

If I had gun/gun or gun/lamb I dunno if I'd bother with it though. Upgrades elsewhere or to Lamb with a cashout of Jacks to Field or something would probably be my move..

Dunno what I'd do with Elgey.. I dumped him for Jacks after Rd 1.. Don't regret it, but in hindsight I would've dumped Maloney as they've scored the same and one has made money while the other has dropped considerably.

I'm holding Maloney as an NPR though at 241k since he's an 80 minute half and 1 decent score should have him recoup those losses. Elgey is pretty much the same, except we just haven't seen him post a big score yet in a much limited sample. So I see some merits to holding him over Jacks.

Just need a perfect storm where their teams dominate possession and therefore don't have the chance to miss as many tackles, and can accrue some blown out attacking stats.

If you're like me with halves of Lamb/Maloney/Jacks/Hampton, then the Jacks to KNik trade looks like a pretty good temporary solution as the cash is raised to upgrade at least one of those middies to a gun over the coming weeks.

As for Knik himself as a fantasy prospect.. I'd be over the moon if he could hit 40. Not really thinking about the cash made, but I expect he'll at least make something off the back of the 66. I'd be happy just to get 30s at this point after running 25 average Maloney and then Hampton last week for 19.

He's a busy player too.. can really see he wants to prove himself every time he gets a chance, whether it's on the wing when guys like Oates/Kahu go down or in the halves playing 80 where he can really have a go.. so I'll enjoy watching him even more now.

Just a gut feel. He's a great player with a high work rate & is the type of player suited to fantasy.

Spina score 23 last week including a try. Can't see that significantly improving.

there is also every chance someone like Hoare gets back into the team

Anyone targeting bodene Thompson? Scored 40 last week in 64 minutes, If he didn't get the HIV good chance he would have scored 50.
Looks to have bottomed out and plays first 2 bye rounds. I'm looking at trading him up to Surgess in round 15.

Who did he get that from and will it impact his performances for the rest of the year? Can't imagine him playing 80 each week with that....

ABC saying that Woods and Tedesco have been given 24 hours to re-sign with the Tigers. Doesn't say what will happen if they don't

Lol - exactly. Cleary quoted as being confident they'll stay because the Tigers got Brookes to commit to another 2 years - either he's delusional or is totally resigned to the fact he's inherited a basketcase.

I think what they are basically saying is here is an offer, its available until this time and date. After that we pull the offer and you can take whatever others are willing to give because we won't be used as a bargaining chip.

Sound move from Cleary if you ask me, sure you want to do everything you can to keep Teddy, but if he's not sticking around you also want as much time as possible to adjust and build next years squad without him. Worst case scenario would be trying to hold him and then by the time he tells you he's going elsewhere everyone else is off the market.

This deadline was given to the Issac Moses on Tuesday - but the Tigers only went public with it today, so '24 hours' is a bit misleading.

Given all reports are that Woods and Teddy have already signed elsewhere its more of a PR exercise than a genuine deadline.

If they haven't yet signed with the Dogs/Roosters I guess it means their asking price drops a little as the Tigers offer drops off the table.

I've got Jake the Musgrove and whilst I'm tempted to trade him I'm actually wondering if my desire to trade him is founded on real potential to drop in value or just frustration at something that was looking like a good move no longer working out. I mean i'd like to know jut how much $ he drops if say he scores 20's for the next 3 weeks, if its say 40K or less, that might be something I can live with for the chance that something changes again and he gets some more minutes or a better trade out comes along.
