Any chance we could get a bye planner added to page 1 of the threads?

Revised scores for Niko still disturbing

    34 32 21 28 66

Am I overthinking this? Surely he can't suddenly turn into +40 average half

http://www.nrlsupercoachstats.com/byeplanner.php this is a supercoach one someone posted the other day. Some players aren't in the same position but just put players from same team

He'd have to keep the tries coming for that to happen.

30-35 is more likely (which gets you some price rises, but is not far away from being another Elgey)

Niko will probably get 10 try assists this week from just giving it to James Roberts who is up against Robert Jennings.

@ wackos - Lowe has been on the bench after having a scare to his neck. He had off season surgery on his neck.

The Broncos right edge of K-Nik, Gillett & J. Roberts could wreck havoc against Jennings.

Niko definitely seems like a risk. I think other posters are right to think he'll be a 30-35 point scorer if he doesn't get the attacking stats to boost his scores up a bit. However, I don't see any reason why he can't get those attacking stats. He got 5 TBs last game (admittedly against the Titans), and Bennett was willing to bench Andrew freaking McCullough so he could bring him on as an attacking impact player.

The Broncos next four games are Souths, Penrith, Manly and Tigers. If Hunt isn't back for round 12, Niko will be up against the Warriors. Definitely not the hardest run. Taking him means taking a gamble that he can go big a couple of times and push his average above 40, but I don't think that's too unlikely.

Well I've traded Niko in so let's pray he breaks some tackles and gets another try!!!

Thing is though, if you have Jacks and bugger all salary, what do you do? Niko about the only option worth having a punt on.

No-one said I can't post this, but please delete if its not appropriate.

The updated Renegade's bye planner is pretty good.

You can factor in trades during the bye rounds, see how many players you have each round and in each of the positions, and you can generate total predicted scores for each round too.

    I found it incredibly helpful!

Someone tell me, would Elgey to Niko be deemed as a sideways trade?? Really kind of want to hold Lamb.

Your other option is probably Frawley. That's a risk too, since picking him up is betting that he'll end up starting at some point. He's a slower burner as well.

I'm making that trade this week. Can't see any other way to get rid of horrible AE risk Elgey. If it fails then its pretty sideways, but if Niko comes good then seems like a good trade to me.

Then again, I've been pretty risk adverse all year, so chances are that I take this one and it bites me.

Thanks mate. A rule at the start of the season I made myself was no sideways trades, and you're right, if he keeps going well, it's a win, if last week was a one off and he goes back to scoring 30's, it could then be classified as sideways. I'll take the risk too. I mean he's already up, 66 with a try and Elgey can't crack half of that with 2 tries so, in theory, seems like a solid trade, but we'll see haha.
