Thanks Beast, this is fantastic post. Interesting opinion with JDB, but Gallen is looking good for sure. I have no one under 200K so I have room to move everywhere which feels good and just need to make the right trades. The points parts is where having so much depth is having me lag behind, but I'm okay with that for now. A lot of my squad I have no issues sticking with if their scoring stays up. I think I am in a decent position, team wise not ranking wise but it's the trades from here that count. Did well grabbing, Slater, Hess and Ponga when I did though.
wolfking wrote:Damn, we were pretty damn close though mate. Wallace the only big difference. I guess he's playing well enough. Napa was always the next to come in, but he's been shit this year so Wallace a good a chance as anyone I guess.

my point re JDB wasn't anything like I think he would struggle or anything, was more just that if you were looking at a gun upgrade from someone like Hess in the next few weeks I would say Gallen would be the better pick up with the byes in mind. Especially with Sironen probably having a few more good weeks in him that you could wait on him and upgrade him to JDB for his bye round.
As a whole I think you're team's looking in a great spot. might be dropping a few points each week but nothing that puts you out of range. A few good gun upgrades in the coming weeks will have you catching up in no time, which is what it sounds like you are aware of and planning on doing so

With Parker and Scott gone there are two new spots up for grabs. Napa will be one, and QLD probably need another big body/middle forward. Add to that, not sure if they will stick with Myles, who at this stage is outside Manly's best 17.
In my humble opinion, Jarrod Wallace has been better than Korbin Sims this year, who is also on the radar for qld.
You're welcome! Good luckwolfking wrote:

Papa will probably get a bench front row spot - we have enough back rowers with Gillett, Guerra, McGuire, Thaiday etc. One of McGuire / Thaiday will probably be a prop too. I agree Wallace has been better than Korbin so probably gets a spot - that would hurt a few Fantasy teams! Napa will be there I expect if his ankle holds up.
