It was quite funny watching the Broncos scores after 60 minutes start to go down, giving their points away to the Panthers with so many missed tackles.

That was my fault, all the missed tackles started after I praised KNik about how rock solid he was Lol

Yeah hasn't played 80 since round 1 but is averaging anywhere between 65-75mins. I think his 61 last week might be a one off but looks good for at least a 40-45 average from his current game time.

If he maintains that through the byes he'll be well over 400k and within easy reach of a gun hooker.

Yeah if you can afford the trades, the HK position seems to be a good place to make up points on people, especially for the bye rounds.

I'm a bit leery of Cameron King being in the squad often, and Kaysa not playing the full 80 shows they like to sub him off.

De Gois was also the obvious worry, but has he officially retired yet? Could return for a final hurrah or something.

If Will Smith comes in I think even if named at 5/8 will play fullback with Guth going back to 5/8

Feeney played 80 mins at 5/8 in round 12 last year, he scored 12 fantasy points...

    18 tackles, 28 RM, 70 KM
    1LBA, 1 TB

7 missed tackles and 1 error

I cant believe people are talking about bringing in Feeney. If he scores good then great, but history has shown he scores bad.

If Roberts is gone for a few weeks, does Croker become more of an origin chance?

I just can't bring in Feeney. I can't take that leap for someone with such a poor fantasy history. Looks like I'm stuck with Jacks.

Gillett misses tackles because he attempts so many one on one. It's easy to make all your tackles when you're 2nd or 3rd man in. In terms of real life (ignoring fantasy), Gillett is the best 2rf in the comp in terms of what he provides to the team IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I think he is a great player, but to me he's not a hit and stick defensive second rower, he's a worker, someone who makes the tackle eventually on the second attempt after being slipped for an extra 3 metres, his speed and fitness makes up for it, is very strong so can throw players off, I just see him as a more attacking player than the "BEST" defensive second rower in the game. IRL is very good, just not consistent for fantasy gun because of missed tackles.

Another player I kind of liken him to (different position) is Jack Bird. I've heard people say Bird is great defensively, but if you watch the game and look at his stats he falls off a lot of tackles, but breaks a lot also. Just not a good pick for fantasy.

I reckon its worth waiting out one week to see how Feeney performs before trading him in. At worst he guns it and you miss out on ~$30k in the first price rise. I think thats worth the price of seeing if he is a dud again

He'll play R9. Why wouldn't he? They got pumped. He had two balls stripped - Sam does that every week. He more than made up for it. He was probably only getting 60 minutes anyway, as he has done most games, and last week was an anomaly. I don't think he's going anywhere and to say he 'might' only play R18 is ridiculous. He'll play far more than that. Bench at worst. He'll play before Kikau and Browne.

He won't play cause Harris will be back and TMM might even be back. I do hope you're right though mate. Although I'd love him to get a bench spot, we saw two weeks ago he was dropped in favour of Browne. But anything can happen, and he certainly deserves a spot in the 17, he is a great talent.

No. Croker will play City Country though, but with Fergs, Dugan, Jennings, Moylan, Hayne, Teddy, Turbo, there is heaps of backline options. Croker is no chance.

I can't see CHN jagging a bench spot. He's an edge forward & teams don't carry edge forwards on the bench. CHN will either start or nothing.

No Roberts gone means jack for the left centre position. Dugan to fill right centre, Ferguson outside him, Teddy fullback. Pearce/Maloney halves, Moylan utility.

Left centre is up for grabs between Josh Morris, M Jennings, Croker and maybe Hayne at a stretch. Don't think Hayne has done enough.

Brett Morris would be my left winger. Maybe Daniel Tupou and Tom Trobjevic come into calculations.

Also Adam Reynolds could come into calculations if Daley doesn't know what to do with his hooker. e.g. imagine if Pearce plays hooker in front of Farah, Wallace, Peats, McInnes, Cook.
