Is anyone holding fifita through origin? Was planning on trading him to Graham but I should be able to now afford Wallace to Graham. Will be worse off over byes but saves a trade long term in having to get fifi back.
Also anyone considering Munster, are you not concerned he will find his way into origin? Would be a gun centre

Poor you. I've been playing him for weeks in the CTR's and I'm doing okay. He's actually outscored Sione this year.
Oh I've been running Cotric too in Hayne's absence. Just with his return I don't have him slotting in at the back and I tend to err on the side of caution with things and pick a slightly safer Sione than Cotric on the basis of thinking Sione has a greater floor given forward base stats. But I might be throwing that out the window and dropping Sione rather than Cotric anyway now

Will be holding Fifita. Saves trades, and there's always a chance he doesn't actually get picked for Origin and will be a huge captain option for rd 15 and 18. In saying that there is every chance he doesn't get picked, has massive games out of frustration, NSW lose game 1 and then bring him in for game 2 and 3 so you don't get his bye coverage in the end.
Can't see Munster getting a run. Think they will go Chambers and O'Neil at centre.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 37
Just Looking through Test and Rep squads and I only have following players:
Smith, Fifita (Aus)
SJ, RTS, Kodi Nikorima (NZ)
No Country Origin players
Whitehead (Eng)
FKaufusi (Tonga)
Looking good for limiting my injuries to my team.
However, City Origin Team to come - Will probably have a heap of guys in that. E.g Dylan Walker, Tom Turbo, McInnes?, N Brown?, Chricton?, Norman?.
Actually, probably just the first two.
EDIT: McInnes only for City. I have only 8 players to hope don't get injured this weekend.

QLD are loyal to a fault. Backline will probably be something like
1 Slater
2 Boyd
3 Chambers
4 O'Neill/Gagai
5 Gagai/Oates/Holmes
As a bench utility he'd be great but Michael Morgan has that locked up.
Also I won't hold Fifita. NSW need him and the cash freed up from trading him in allows me to make a few other moves to help out my team. I need to make some ground over the byes.

I see a few planning to bring in Gallen for round 10. What if he gets the origin call up he'll miss rounds 12 & 13. The way he's playing makes him one of the form forwards in the comp & he said he'll never refuse Daley if he asked him to play.

If I go ahead with my planned transfers round 10 I'll have these players for round 12 so far:
Cook, N. Brown, Surgess, Crichton, A. Elliot, SJ, Norman, Talakai, Cotric, RTS, R. Jennings
These players could be a maybe - Klokstad, Abbey.
My current non round 12 players I will sell:
Fifita, Hess & CHN to 2 of J. Graham, Gallen or Mannering & a cheapie like Tualau. Atm I would prefer Gallen & Mannering.
The way Leilua & Croker are falling in price I could maybe go Kelly to 1 of them with 1 trade if I have the cash on hand.
These above should give me 15 definites for round 12 & 2 maybe's in Abbey & Klokstad

Well of course the coach will try his best to quell the rumour because he wants him to not play origin. If Gallen wants to play origin then Gallen will play origin. He will call the shots not Flanagan. I just think it's safer to wait until round 12 & then bring in Gallen if he isn't selected for origin.

I traded Jacks to Klokstad yesterday & I thought he had a very solid game on the wing. He made no errors & would of got his first try if Fusitua had of passed before hitting the ground. I think he's very likely to play in round 10 as well because the Warriors won & you never change a winning team. Imo Fusitua will retain the ctr spot ahead of Kata & the backline looked much better without Kata who gives away silly penalties, drops the ball & makes error after error.

I'm not too concerned with quantity, just quality. Numbers of players is a myth, numbers of guns guaranteed 50 points is key.
Viable gun players are SJ, Norman, RTS, Brown, Whitehead, Graham, Mannering, Tolman, PODene, Surgess, Calker, Chricton, and Fifita/Gallen/Arey if not picked for origin.
Then you have some borderline gun backs such as Gutherson, Croker, BJ, Rapana etc
It's going to be interesting to see what teams will look like in round 13 if they have all of Cook, Surgess, Cody Walker, Chricton, Musgrove, Talakai, Rjennings, Arey, Gallen for round 12 and what they will score in round 13.

For 1 round, then have him sit out round 13?

I liked how RTS and Klok took the early hit-ups in the set of 5 to gain metres...
He's definitely a player to keep an eye on going forward

Yeah I would weigh that up as well at the time. It's probably more prudent to wait until round 14 but lets face it everyone will buy him in round 12 if he isn't playing origin.

I've got Surgess, Crichton, Gallen, and Cwalker not playing round 13,
But still have plenty of guns... CS9, Graham, Kaufusi, Nbrown, Hess, Norman, RTS, Slater, Hayne...to get a decent score

Also, guys like Jake Trobjevic, Taupau, Cleary, Cartwright, Peachey etc could all be worth saving your trades for after round 15 as their byes will be complete and could become keepers.
