    Round 10 - Winterstein & Lamb out - A. Elliot & Norman in
Round 11 - CHN & Abbey out - Tualau (via N. Brown) & Gutherson in (if still f/b)
    Round 12 - Fifita & Hess out - J. Graham & Mannering in

This will leave me with 15 trades left & give me:
    Round 12=16 players, 13=19, 15=13, 16=15, 18=13, 19=15

    By round 20 I want 10 trades left so rounds 16 & 19 will use 4 trades to get a playing 17.
That leaves me with 1 floating trade to use as required. I'll use it to get a gun ctr.

This will be my squad in round 12:
    Smith, Cook
    J. Graham, Wallace, F. Kaufusi, Tualau
JDB, Mannering, Surgess, N. Brown, Crichton, A. Elliot
    SJ, Norman, Klokstad, Field
    Cotric, Idris, Talakai, Kelly
Slater, RTS, Gutherson, Ponga, R. Jennings.

I'm not sure whether 13 players for the big bye rounds 15 & 18 is enough but at least I'll still be able to get out a full 17 in the other minor bye rounds. Thoughts.

    Not bad WL, not bad...
Not sure if it will be enough to get you to the number 1 spot in League 51 though :pp:

All things remaining equal, I think I'm going Kaufusi > Tolman, Vaughan > Brown this round. I'll be looking at Graham next Round, probably for Hess or CHN. Setting myself up for the bye rounds. Only 20 trades left after this and that is the most I've ever made at this stage of the season. Gotta try something different.

Winterstein to Brown and McGuire to Tolman good trades? Preparing for round 12,then thinking of going Kaufusi to Graham and Aubusson to Mannering. Do these all sound good?

Guess I can take Mullen off the watch list.

Was expecting big kick meters, run meters and lots of tackles this year.

I'm not sure what to do this round, all my possible bye round trade out players have great BE's!

Good problem to have, Kaufusi, Ponga, Stone, Suli, and to some extent Yates not ne of them have bad BE's. And players I might get like CWalker, Surgess, have reasonably high BE's. So if I sit tight R10 hopefully it will work well for me.

I think by R12 I will have gone Fifita to Brown,  Yates and Stone to NPR & Surgess and Ponga to CWalker.

That will leave me 21 trades or so for the last 13 rounds

Great read on the last page RE ET.

Get the ice out everyone, ice that team up for a week and reassess after the rep round.

Having same problem in my FRF. Want to punt McGuire, but his BE isn't to bad, don't want to punt Vaughan (yet), but his is 70odd.

Will probably do Vaughan to Nbrown this week.
McGuire to Graham and Kaufsi to Surgess next

Just looked through the Sharks team lists and Capewell has played CTR twice and Wing twice so far this year. Is it Four or Five games needed before a player is given DPP status?

Trying to figure out the likelyhood of him getting DPP anytime during the bye period as it gives me a lot of options and i figure Bird and Val are both chances (outside perhaps) of selection so in either case he could be shifted to the starting role.

4 games (in final team lists) to get DPP (and you can only get 2 positions, triple positions players can't exist)

So 2 more games at centre or 2 more games at wing and Capewell should get DPP the next week.

I have a feeling Tolman is going to disappoint new owners. Just a hunch. With Reynolds injury I expect four forwards on bench for next two weeks at least. He has good byes I guess but he's priced pretty close to guys like surgess without the pedigree over the whole season.

Anyone heard anything more about Gavin coopers injury? Thinking Ethan Lowe could be a sneaky POD for the price at $346k. Much like Whitehead and Bodene Thompson if given 80 mins.

10 trades is fine if you can manage 16 or 17 in those other 2 bye rounds. By the time the bye rounds end there is simply not enough time and teams are too similar to make up bulk points. Your team is sitting close enough to have a decent crack at it. The one year I managed to go close to winning I attacked the bye rounds that others were avoiding. Based on what I have seen this year everyone is looking pretty poor for 17/18 so I would be aiming for a gun 17 in both those rounds, 15 or so in 12 and 15 along with 17 in all other rounds. This might mean a few sideways trades but no point coming out of the byes with 10 trades left and treading water for 6 weeks for a top 1000 finish. I would roll the dice burn those trades and try to win it all

Thanks man, thought it was 4 and yeah realised you couldn't get TPP (though what a shame!). Well 2 more games in one of those positions isn't impossible, I'll cross my fingers as it would help throughout the byes and give me a handy avenue to reach that final 17.

Apparently Zac Santo might be heading to the tigers and we'd be picking up Tyrone Phillips from the dogs to replace him (all this mid season). Wonder if its purely a depth shuffle from each of us or if Santo might get a shot at FG this season for the tigers. If so, could be a cheap cash out to play R15, but then again likely won't score great and you'd have him for the rest of the season as a possible AE.
