Hunt not ready til round 13 or 14? I'll take that. Don't believe it though if he's been running surely.

Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck or Bernard Lewis. However if Robbo opts for experience he'd probably shift Aubo groan or Matterson to centre and shift Manu or Mitchell to the wing.
Matterson's got a bad injury, hasn't he? It's going to be Aubs. Of course it's going to be fucking Aubs.

If that's the case then K-Nik is a better pick than Frawley imo.

I don't know why Green would do that and where Cowboys fans would get that from, just false hope I guess.

No way I'd be trading Niko in now.

Yeah Matterson did his ankle a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how bad though since I haven't ready any injury updates. He was next in line for the Mr Fix It role where he had to shift everywhere.

Should I play Nikorima or Frawley as my second half. My other half is Norman.

When you want something to happen, you can tend to imagine crazy scenarios to suit your preferred narrative. I was saying to myself Kata's been so average this year, CNK is surely in with a chance of taking his spot.
I mean I wasn't really wrong, the Warriors literally grinded their way to a victory and it was their most gritty win I've ever seen but unfortunately incumbency saw Kata walk his way back in. At least CNK has the underperformers on notice though.

i've only seen him listed as out indefinitely. jbrom and proctor copped 2 games so i'd assume skd will be the same meaning he'll be back for round 12. if pearce and fergo play origin i reckon the roosters backline will be, keary, watson, latrell, manu, skd, tupou, gordon
I think SKD will receive a much more severe punishment from the NRL and/or Roosters on the basis that he was actually arrested for possession, Bromwich and Proctor were only mentioned in court, not arrested, for their 2 weeks off. Personally, I'd be surprised to see him back this season

I'd lean towards K-Nik. The Broncos playing Manly at home could be an open running game with plenty of points which will suit him. It's close though but if you believe Frawley will do better against the Cowboys then go for him. Just go with your gut.

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 38
These trades are doing my head in. I was going to conserve them this week and just wait it out to see what happens but now I'm thinking to myself I should get Idris out so I can have some more cash to play with for future trades.
For Round 12 I have Fifi to Brown, Slater to Walker or Aubo and Wallace to Graham pencilled in. To get some cash though I'll have to be trading out guys like Hampton, Idris and maybe Rennings.
I don't want to make the cash-out trades before I even know who is playing but I don't want to do the sideways gun trades prematurely either. What to do, what to do?

I agree. I'd lean more towards Laybutt (lol butt) having a better chance of sneaking in to replace ray thompson in the halves

No rush in trading out Idris until there's a suitable replacement since he isn't going to lose you money.
Also remember we get an extra trade on the bye rounds so we get 3 to play with in round 12/15/18/19

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 38
My team this week;
Smith Brailey
Fifita Wallace Kaufusi Yates
Surgess Bodene Hess Crichton CHN Winterstein
Norman Niko Frawley Lamb
SMat Turbo Kelly Idris
RTS Slater Cotric Suli Ponga
24 trades and 110K.
I'm only thinking about going Hess to Brown. Also liking SST which then I could get Munster for Lamb. But going Brown leaves me with 1 shitty reserve but I'm not too worried about that. Thinking about going Idris to Hayne but I think that may be unnecessary. Probably would give me too much depth although a more solid 4th reserve. Probably should wait for a more bye friendly option or wait for Croker, Aubbs, Semi etc. SMat I'm thinking can go for Aubbs anyway in round 12.
Options;
1. Hess - Brown
2. Hess - Brown
Idris - Hayne
3. Hess - SST
Lamb - Munster
Opinions?

Warriors wrote:Fairly screwed now given no Ponga this week as I also have two NPR reserves (non DPP) and therefore will cop an AE if I don't trade a fullback this week.
I have Tom Turbo in centres I can move back but would need to trade TRD or D Edwards (preferably TRD). Idris being out has also screwed me on this front. Not sure what to do. $0K in the bank.
Also have Fuimaono who I can shift to second row.
Options for trade outs are:
F Winterstein 310K
Idris 220K
TRD 163K
D Edwards 206K
I don't know what to do this week.
fwinter to murray/nicholls/stimson + edwards to croker/leluia. i would really consider trading ponga out, but i can see you you would want to keep him.
another option is to work off your a/e and have an acceptable player like spina/j.edwards score 20-30 on the side as a cash out who plays week 15.

You only get the extra trade in 12/15/18
Round 19 is 2 trades.
In previous years the rules have stated you get 3 trades in the round after origin 3 - but you never actually get the trades.
The Fantasy rules are really shoddily maintained. A couple of years ago they had AFL references all throughout them. This years FAQ still refers to a starting salary of $6.8million

Re: 2017 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 38
Reasonably happy with my team this week given all the changes and players missing
Smith (McInnes)
Kaufusi, Ese'ese (N.Brown)
Surgess, Crichton, BThompson (Whitehead, CHN)
Johnson, Norman
BJ, Moga
Tedesco, RTS, Hayne
Mulling over the idea of Suli as last reserve over CHN but I'd almost put money on CHN scoring against the Warriors.
Really happy with Ese'ese and his slow burn cash gain. Hasn't been the worst third prop and hopefully he gets a couple more decent scores before I trade him out for a nuffie or a keeper.
I am holding Ponga. I have enough players to fit out my 17 and my trades and cash are being used elsewhere. Either he plays and gains cash or he doesn't play and doesn't lose cash.
Jai Field took minutes from McCrone in round one when he was on the bench, do we expect this to happen again? Hopefully he gets more than 11 minutes this time.
